The Gospel of John: Beholding the Glory (Orthodox Bible Study Companion)

Thus far I have enjoyed Fr Farley's Orthodox and hence conservative commentary on the Gospel of John. We are using it for our Church's Bible Study on the Gospel of John. The book works well for both group and private study. Highly recommended! And check out his short easy to follow Podcast "the Coffee Cup Commentaries" on Ancient Faith Radio.

Although this book wasn't exactly what I had expected; it is still a very huge help in one's understanding of the Gospel of JOhn. I found the historical background and the sort of conversational tone of the book, very "user friendly"!!! Not only that, but it made the Gospel of John really come alive!!! Another book, I'm sure I'll re-read many times.
