These are well thought out. They fit together nicely. I was able to use a round ball routing bit to carve out where my elements needed to be and they didn't crack or break. They are very fragile though, after bolting them together, they are starting to crack, but that is the user, not the products fault. Kiln turned out very nicely.

The bricks were packed well with care to prevent damage. They are easy to carve shape and cut with either a hand saw, file or table saw. Lots of dust is to be expected. You could also easily carve with literally a screw to make the grooves or use a trimming router. Thoroughly satisfied with this product.

There are so many different ways to use these bricks. I love the fact that they are so easy to manipulate because of the shape that is uniform the whole way around. This makes them easier to stack and ensures they will have a tight fit, which is important for making the forge I want to use them for. I was really happy with the shipping. There were no chips or cracks because of the dual packaging. Then an additional layer of Styrofoam. This shows that they cared about the quality of the product to ensure that the bricks are in the best condition possible.These are smooth and clean with no discoloration, and each brick is solid, so they will hold heat well to evenly distribute the heat. I am looking at building a forge, and these are perfect for that project. Not all bricks can handle the heat for making a forge. I wanted to make sure I got bricks that wouldn’t melt. I also wanted to make sure the bricks were not pulling the heat from the source, so I wanted to make sure I chose bricks that could use the fuel efficiently so it would save me time and fuel. The hard bricks pull heat away from the source, so they can require more fuel to get to These are rated for a higher temperature, so I didn’t have to worry about these not handling the heat.I want to make a mini forge, so these are going to work well for me. I am planning on cutting these down to size, so I am waiting for my face mask to protect me, so I can’t say how well they cut yet. These look amazing for the project though.

These fire bricks will be used as the base for a small outdoor fireplace. They will provide an 18”x22” flat base to be surrounded by stone as shown in the last picture. Although the firebrick is rectangular, it will still work to protect the ground from the campfire. The fire brick arrived in a sturdy box inside another sturdy Amazon box. There were styrofoam and heavy cardboard forms surrounding the brick so that it wasn’t damaged during transport. If I need more firebricks, I plan to order these again!

These have some good heft to them which I can appreciate. It definitely helps keeping them in place which is the last thing you need to worry about when working with high heats. These blocks come with a nice indent on the edges to connect them together and fit together well. It’s kind of up to you to figure out how you want to introduce the heat though, it does kind of just make a square with two open ends. I use the torch on one end and it doesn’t seem to affect the heat loss terribly, but I would probably prefer a bit more of a setup for forging with these. These blocks do their job great though so if you need some firebricks for your own forge or setup then these work great!

I don't know what I can say about bricks to convince you they are special, but these are pretty good fire bricks they provide ample perimeter protection from the furnace they surround and help keep the heat where it is needed.

The OEM bricks for our fireplace were a stupid price. We decided to buy these and cut them to size....man they work well and were 1/10 the price of the OEM

The products is good and extremely well packaged but because of the fragile nature of it one corner of one brick was cracked when it arrived. Didn't give me any issues though
