Barney ButterAlmond Butter, 10oz

The product itself is amazing. The problem is with Amazon as IT IS NOT a lot of 6 BUT ONLY 1 bottle! 20$ for one is really expensive.

Supposed to be creamy but the last several jars I purchased have come with separated oil laying a half inch high at the top, and massive chunks that are impossible to stir and won't blend in no matter what type of spoon I try to stir with. I've even tried using a knife but it just won't budge. It's like a massive golf ball of almond butter with small chunky rocks around it that sit in the middle of the jar while the oil surrounds it. At first I thought it was just a bad jar or 2 but I'm now on my 5th "bad jar" so I'm done. I'm switching brands.

I usually buy this brand almond butter specially since I started the Paleo diet but I get the regular one. I decided I wanted to try the cocoa one and see if it gave it an interesting kick almost like chocolate. When I'm telling you that this thing was sooooo liquidy that it looked like just straight oil and thats it im not lying. I put it in the fridge to see if it solidified but it didnt no matter what I did. I ended up just throwing some into each shake I made because I was just able to eat it with anything else solid. Big let down and I won't be ordering this specific one again.

Let me start by saying my grandson is highly allergic to peanuts. I contacted Barney Butter on social media to ask about allergens. They sent me a lengthy response, which I appreciated. I felt safe knowing there would be no traces of peanuts in the product. My 18month old grandson can now safely enjoy Barney Butter and grandma doesn’t worry!

I like the flavor, but the almond butter is so hard it won't mix with the coconut and palm oil, etc. You have to eat it with a spoon and try to get some oil into the almond. No chance of spreading on bread. I've ordered several times as I like the flavor, but don't get it for sandwiches.
