Very easy to install. I put it on my Shimano stradic 2500. The stradic came with a small flat handle. This has a good feel for my larger hand, and spins forever. Comes with instructions that are easy to read , and has good pictures. All I needed was a smaller Phillips screw driver. Save your Shimano handle screw as you will need it for installation of this knob. Would not hesitate to buy another. 👍

The media could not be loaded. I have had this Shimano Stradic CI4+ 2500 (2nd gen) for almost ten years and it's foam handle is finally detaching itself from the plastic underneath. It not longer provides good grip and slides around under heavy pressure when fighting fish.Decided to look for an upgrade- initially looking at power knob handles kits, but those were quite pricey and there was nothing functionally wrong with the stock handle. I realize that GOMEXUS offered just the power knob itself, which obviously would have to be installed.Installation was simple, though some fit testing was needed to find the perfect balance between free spinning handle and knob play. For my reel, instructions said to add 1 washer, then bearing, then handle, then bearing, screw, and handle cover. I found that once tightened, the knob did not spin as freely as I wanted it, yet there was no play.I eventually found the perfect set up which allowed maximum free rotation with almost no play. I installed it with 1 washer, then bearing, then handle, 1 washer, another bearing, 1 washer, screw, and handle cover.Knob spins effortlessly almost friction less. Please see the video! This is probably one of the best "upgrades" I made to a spinning reel and it was cost effective and simple. Can't wait to catch some fish!GOMEXUS makes some nice stuff, will consider them again for my other reels for handle upgrades.

Put this on a Stradic 2500 size. Easy to install, lightweight and strong, great bearings. Spins like a fidget toy it's so smooth. Used it all summer, held up beautifully. Will buy again.

Looks great on my Daiwa Free Swimmer 5000! Reason why it got 4 stars instead of 5 is because you can't actually tighten the screw down all the way or the bearings won't spin. You have to use Loctite, tighten the screw, then back off about a quarter to half a turn so the knob spins. I now have a beautiful, great feeling knob, but the screw coming loose will always be in the back of my mind. Would be terrible if the knob comes off when fighting a fish.
