Good value shoe plates. Just remember they don't have the anti-slide pins more expensive ones have.

I purchased these as spares for my tripods as I tend to use several different cameras. My first impression was that they looked well made and very similar to my existing one, that was until I tried locking one into place. At that point it was plain to see that the 'V' type slots along the edges were very poorly made and barely matched the locking parts of my tripod head, they were very crudely cast. There was no way would I have trusted an expensive camera to such a poor attachment, so they would have been pretty useless unless like me you took a file (or in my case a milling machine) to the slots and made them match properly. I gave them 3 stars because they were otherwise well made and cheap enough to buy and a bit of work on my part sorted things out.

all was well until I opened the package and found only one piece instead of two. The one piece works fine though.
