Set this up in my shed Monday evening with a dog treat and peanut butter as bait and Tuesday AM I checked it and it had killed the rat. I am so happy this product worked and fast.

Other than the finish this looks to be the same as the SavHome unit which have gone up about $20 bucks since October 2017..These work great and the Rats practically lineup to be Zapped,mice are more wary ,be patient!..I use peanutbutter for mice and a mix of dry and wet cat food for the Rats..put it on a stiff piece of paper or cardboard cut to fit the area intended for the food ,helps with the clean up..These come apart for easy access unlike other designs.I also like to put this unit on a piece of paper or ? and wipe a bit of bait around the entrance to help lure them to their demise,but just enough for a good whiff not enough to eat..At my mothers home the Exterminator wanted 10k to rid the place of Rats in the Attic..A few hours plugging holes and two of these, two weeks and about a dozen rats later..No More Rats..Kept them in place and baited ,nothing for over a year..And remove any food source,my mother kept a bag of dog food opened in the garage..Dinner Time ..All the Time.The added light on a wire is a nice touch..You can put it in the attic and drop the light where you can see it without crawling into the wherever its placed,it does have a fairly loud beep when triggered but in the attic its difficult to hear the light solves that.The batteries are good for many triggers and will last at least a year without replacing them when not trigger you can also plug this into acwall socket with the included power supply.Ive bought these for work ,for my neighbor and now I needed one for a pesky woodrat ,mountain variety..One day! Zap! hes dead.But what inquiring minds want know is...Why is the bait missing sometimes if the little beasties are dead before they can eat it?.Got one so big once I had to take it apart to get it out and the bait was gone,nothing could get around it to eat the bait.......SMH..must go where all those pencils and stuff disappear to..a crack in the space time continium...

Easy to use seems to work as advertised. Been zapping a rat every other day now using just the batteries.

I originally bought this to get rid of a rat that was at my bird feeders every night. A fox caught him before I put the trap out. I had the trap in the box. I then had a mouse out on the back porch where I keep the suet cakes. I put the trap out and zapped him that night. I dumped his body out back as a snack for the Fox. I intend to put the trap out in the garage next because I know there is one mouse out there. I am sure I will have a similar success. I highly recommend this product. I also recommend foxes to get rid of outdoor rodents.

Caught rat in one day. I like the remote light and sound when a rat is caught in trap.Plus ability to charge. Would buy again.

It didn't catch anything right away, but we put feta cheese on it and also set a regular snap trap. Lo and behold! We caught TWO--one in each trap! The cord that hangs down with the LED light flashed blue and made beeping noises. At first we were confused because we thought the kill indicator light was supposed to be green. Ours was blue. We will listen tomorrow to see if my husband hears any more scuffling noises above his office.

This is the best zapper ever made!!! My neighbors and myself all have rodent problems and this is the very best product of its kind! I highly endorse this product. It has delivered me many deceased little pests and continues to work perfectly. If need be I will purchase this product over and over.

Works pretty well. Caught more with the old snap traps than this one, but had a couple occasions when the trap bait was gone without the trap going off but then the mouse went into this one and it gt the job done. Easy to set up and clear and the indicator light is helpful as well.
