I bought this for our "grandson"--a happy go lucky beagle--to play with while we were dogsitting. It took a while to motivate him to play with it, but eventually he caved... and then promptly proceeded to tear its insides out! I took a photo and sent it to my son, and he remarked, "Wow, it has been a long time since he played with a toy like that." So even an old hound past his prime enjoyed this toy. As for quality, this is a very well made toy. Yes, it's true that the dog ripped it to shreds, but that'll happen to any toy if the dog is determined enough. I was happy he enjoyed it. He also has two loofa dog toys here that he hardly ever touches, but this duck toy was too much for him to resist. My only suggestion is to supervise your dog while he plays with this. Besides the inner stuffing, the toy has a fuzzy surface to it, and you don't want him chewing a bunch of fuzz if he tears some out, as dogs are apt to do. Other than that, GREAT DOG TOY!

This held up longer than most toys for our Cane Corso girl. She loves to chew. The size was perfect for her and she enjoyed the squeaker.

Don’t bother buying this if you are looking for a tough toy for a heavy chewer/tugger. I bought one of these toys in store locally last year and it is just now starting to show wear. This is amazing as my Penny girl usually destroys new toys within minutes of getting them as if it were an Olympic sport and she were determined to get the Gold!With that in mind, I decided I needed to get her another of these as it is her favorite toy. She carries it everywhere and plays with it multiple times a day!I was considering purchasing the multi-pack as I wanted to make sure she always has one of these nearby. In the end, I just purchased the one to make sure it was of the same quality as the one bought locally. It most definitely is NOT!Within five minutes, the rope was popped apart and five to ten more minutes later the chipmunk had sprung a leak. It was bleeding fluff everywhere. A few days later and all that is left is an unwound rope attached to a de-fluffed chipmunk. She does like it…hence the one star, but I am really disappointed.

i wasn't looking for the toughest toy on the market but something that would hold up. The chew ring is good for small dogs and the chipmunk is pretty decent. EXECPT THE HEAD AREA, major durability flaw and can be chewed into very easily. I would not really recommend this compared to other products in this price range.

We gave this to my dog on Christmas of 24. It is the only toy that has lasted more than a month with our large Labrador. This is his go-to toy and I probably will buy another one before the prices go up.
