Amazing product for the money. However, I found the material is little thinner. I found them not to be perfectly flat after install. But with a little of work around. It would be.

Easy install.

Easy Insertion. Square drive or ECX screw heads. I purchased a 10-pack, ONE of the receptacles was assembled incorrectly so it can't be used. pretty sure if I try to take it apart to correct, It will probably break.

That they were 20 amp for 12 wire

Most outlets have screws on the side under which you must install the wire with a J-hook and tighten it down. This is slow and the wire can sometimes come loose when inserting the wires and outlet into the outlet box. These outlets have clips on the side that the straight wires are inserted into and then the clips are firmly tightened down. Much quicker installation and no chance of the wire coming loose when the outlet is installed into the outlet box. Faster and safer. Great product and very well made.

Excellent price for 20 amp decora style outlets. But...The design of the plastic near lug screws and the length of the screws make it very difficult and time consuming to wrap 12 ga wire. I did save money with these outlets, but I lost way to much time. Pay extra for the name brand outlets at the Lowe's or Home Depot.Personally, I do not like to use the holes. If you are one of those who use stab holes habitually, these will be fine. However, please note that these are not spring loaded. You will have to tighten down the screws to secure the wires inserted in the holes.

We didn't catch that the face plates are "sold separately". We would've sent 'em back but were under the clock. This fact should be in the header Seller.Did they change the standards for these? There's no Line or Load designation. I guess it really doesn't matter as long as Hot and Neutral are separated. ?? They're essentially loops of amperage regardless of Line/Load.But with the bare side screw plates handling X amps including downstream, will these heat up and be a fire hazard?? Sure hope we don't get screwed again like when we bought some gfci outlets (the gfci "red lighted" not long after installing them). That was part of this project to correct. Wish Amazon would QC the manufacturing tech. Especially, the tech that can kill everyone in the house.The other problem is that, unlike the power wires, the Ground is of the older type of Ground screw and hooked wire. Not straight wire insertion. We didn't catch this either or we would have bought from someone else.
