Our vet pushed us into this for our aging collie with significant arthritis. It took me a long time to find a buffered aspirin that was the right dose and chewable. Our dog loves these and she gets one each morning in addition to non prescription joint meds. The improvement was unbelievable and after two weeks I've got a 13 year old puppy tackling me at the door when I get home from work! She used to come limping up to say hello. There is no question that this has helped greatly and it's frankly been a shock to see such an improvement. An added bonus is that she really likes these (and she is virtually impossible to forcibly pill). We have had no issue with stomach upset or other side effects so far.

Last summer my 11 year-old sheltie was really having a hard time walking, and getting up. So I took him in for an exam and the Doctor said he had a possible torn ACL in his left rear leg. She prepared an estimate which I would not able to afford, and in my heart I knew he would not be able to deal with the recovery and possible surgery on the other leg... so... I gave this product a shot after beginning a search on Amazon. I just can't put into words the improvement in Two Sox's walking and getting up... he is frail due to his age, but the NaturVet Buffered Aspirin has made a huge difference in regard to his quality of life.

This time of year my 12 year old big girl, loves to play in the snow and runs the trails off leash, hopping through the snow and sometimes she overdoes it. I give her Turmeric every day, which has worked beautifully on her, but sometimes she needs an aspirin when I notice at night she is a little stiff that night. I have used other brands but had issues with her liking the taste, so gave the bottles away or returned them. Decided to try this brand and she chews it right down after she has her dinner, I don't even have to try and conceal it in her dinner and just one really seems to help her. I like that it is buffered also.

I like the product ... it helps when my golden retrievers ears are acting up. Only issue is there is NO instruction on the bottle of how many times a day we can give the aspirin to our dog. It tells us how many pills to give him but NOT how often.

My 12 year old Lab has been taking these for a couple months on 2nd bottle. He’s getting old and Hips are hurting and slowing down a lot. He is less active now sighs and moans when going to sit down or get up. He’s been on Cosequin for about 2 years and now they just don’t work. I was desperate to add something else to his daily regimen. I bought these and at first week I saw no difference, on second week major improvement. Not as much moaning now and a tad more active again. I will keep buying these for my big chocolate guy. I give him 2 of his Cosequin and 1 of these Aspirin in morning after breakfast, and then 1 more Aspirin in afternoon. This works so far. I will continue to use these to make him more comfortable!

My dalmatian was attacked a year ago when we were out walking. i took him to the vet who was unsure exactly what was giving him pain without more tests and x-rays that I could not afford. Since that time he has been unable to manage steps and has not been able to get up and down the steps into the back yard. He may also have some arthritis trouble as he is an older dog. Last week I decided to start trying the buffered aspirin and amazingly he is trying the steps again, hesitantly to be sure, but seems to do better all the time.

Of course aspirin is going to work for older dogs with arthritis. I was so afraid to give my 12 year old Golden Retriever ibuprofen without any kind of buffer to it or some sort of product that was for dogs. The ibuprofen worked great. But as stated I was very afraid to give it to her. She ate the tablets no problem. However she is the kind of dog that will eat just about anything. It may be a problem for fussy dogs. But because of the way the tablets are made that would not be a problem if mixed with a favorite food It is working for sure because it is a real effort for her to get up. For example she was just in the kitchen barking for me to come to her because she didn't usually want to make the effort to get up just because she wanted to come see me. She got up and came to me which normally wouldn't happen The directions don't tell how often to give the next dose. I googled it can be given every 8 - 12 hours It's a real blessing to have some form of NSAID use. 5 Stars!!!

It works great. My 11yr old lab has arthritis and other pills gave her an upset stomach. These she takes with no problems and they keep her moving.

My dog got the cold tail again and I saw this on amazon. thankfully it arrived on the same day.My poor dog was whimpering in pain.It seems that it worked ! She started acting much better in 3 days. I gave 2 tablets a day with meal.I was little worried if this makes her feel sick but she was fine.Thank you !

My dog does not like the tablets taste, so for us it is not a chewable. Have to break it in pieces to put down his throat.

My dogs mobility is better with these pills, after straining his back leg from running.
