Easy Rice Washing
Very good product. Small enough to easily fit inside a cupboard with other medium size bowls.Has a silicone handle and base. There are also little raised bumps in the bottom of the bowl to help agitate the rice and wash away all the starch. We use this with a rice cooker from the same brand. There is a lip that prevents your rice washing away as you strain it out the holes in the side. All in all, a very useful (if slightly bougie) product.

Very useful, well built, one minor issue.
I love this little product when I saw it, or something similar on a TikTok/Insta preview. Looks good, the metal could be a tiny bit thicker gauge, but not a huge concern. Holds enough to soak at least 3 cups of rice. The rubber coated bits are brilliant. The only thing I would change is the size of the holes for draining. They are big enough for rice grains to get stuck in them. It’s not enough to happen to ALL of them but every time I wash rice a handful of them get stuck. Smaller and more of the holes would have been better, in my opinion. Otherwise, love it.

It is perfect!
I couldn't be happier with this product. I normally buy cheap wire mesh strainers from ASDA to wash my rice, but they wouldn't last long. I eventually got fed up with wasting money on them and decided to look for a plastic version of what I normally bought. I saw this almost straightaway and decided to take the chance and spend that little bit on something that seemed good quality.I was right to spend that extra money on this. I couldn't be happier. I don't have to worry about my rice falling out when draining because of the lip provided on one side, and the bowl can hold a lot of rice. I would recommend it to everyone and have already been showing it off to quests like a little kid at Christmas.

Wish i had it sooner
When my household eats rice (most nights) we always use the sticky sushi style rice, and using this Rice Washing Bowl has come in handy and made it a lot easier to wash the rice with none getting stuck in the holes

Sturdy
This is very well made and does the job it’s supposed to. IBefore getting it I used to end up with losing most of the rice down the sink.Well worth the money.

Prefer old fashioned colander
Having read so many reviews I was really hoping to like this as it resolved 2 issues.First rice rinsing - I would say this is adequate, but what I don't like is how many rice grains get stuck in the holes and believe me they are sharp when you are trying to push them through.Second - Soaking the rice is very good as you can input sufficient rice for family and leave soaking without water draining until you tip to side to drain it yourself.Summary: Not sure how long this will be out in my kitchen as I think I prefer my original colander. Plus the size of a large pan and where to store, whereas my colanders all stack inside each other.

Excellent product, once you've got the knack of it
At first glance this might look like an expensive product for what it appears to be, but once you've developed the knack of using it correctly, it's a massive time saver. I see a lot of reviews where people seem to be trying to use it like a colander, and that's not the ideal way to get best value from this bowl.- Don't use the straining holes like a sieve - make sure you swirl your water and then pour that off while keeping the rice at the bottom of the bowl (like panning for gold) - that way you avoid (or minimise) grains getting lodged in the holes.- Remember that you are going to put your washed rice in water in order to cook it, so draining the water out of the bowl and scraping the wet grains into your cooking vessel is a chore, whereas pouring your rice/water mixture sideways directly into your cooking vessel is very simple and (if done correctly) leaves nothing in the bowl.I use this at least 4 times a week for cleaning brown rice before putting it into a rice cooker, and I get excellent fluffy, separated rice every time.
