I have a microwave that isn't even a year old. the second time I put the penguin thing inside, my microwave stopped working!!!

My bathroom has some damp smell which I find bothering because it's not good for the body. After buying this thing, the little penguin has turned pink in the past few days, which shows that the moisture is still very heavy. Fortunately, this is a reusable product, which is really cool.

When I first hung it up it took several days for it to turn pink. I microwaved it 3 min. & it turned green. After hanging it up for 2d time it turned pink almost right away. How do you know it's working theirs no water to see. I should return them.

Two of these work well to get extra moisture out of your washing machine. Just remember to take them out before you do a load of laundry.

It terms of absorbing moisture and dehumidifying it worked great. But when following it’s instructions exactly to “recharge” it apparently got too hot and the bag melted or broke? I’m not sure but I am glad I put it in a Pyrex like it directed.

Recently, the inside windows of my car have developed heavy condensation. So much, that i placed a couple of towels inside to wipe them off each morning. I checked my sunroof and doors, and all seem air tight. After researching on the web, I learned that the cold air outside and warm air inside causes this.I purchased two Zarpax packages (a total of 4 bags) for my car; placing two on the rear window, one on the front window, and one between the seats. My windows have been bone dry all week, and the Penguin indicators are still blue. I'm curious to see how they work when it's time to microwave them. So far I'm very happy.

These are so stinking cute! My kiddo likes keeping an eye out for “pink penguin alert”! They refresh easily in the microwave. THEY WILL BE HOT. Use an oven mitt. Trust me. So far, about 2 months into RV life, we’re averaging 3 days between refreshes. They absorb a lot of moisture. If you’re getting condensation on your walls, these won’t keep up like an electric dehumidifier will, but they’re perfect for small spaces like the bathroom and closets.

I had a pair for a few years. They do wear out. Had a fire in the microwave after a year or two. Crystal cat litter and a thin sock will be as effective. They are more convenient to us bought as is. Do we repurchased.

Needed these to help get rid of moisture in car being stored. They absorb the water vapour, and release it when microwaved atop paper towels. Back they go into the car, to repeat the process. I am satisfied with this product.

I brought 4 of these and thought they would be fab to use in my wardrobes. On the 10th use in the microwave to "recharge", ( I followed the instructions to the T) they top of one where the orange string is melted and burnt after the 6mins in the microwave. The end bag burnt onto my plate and balls burnt and went everywhere!! I've emailed Zarpax- with no reply! I have photos too. ConsIdering how expense these are- truly pissed off and disappointed! DON'T BUY IT!

I placed two of the 500g dehumidifier bags on a closed bookshelf with a humidity meter and there was a difference of only a 1% in the humidity level after a week, if any. In comparison, after placing one 300g dehumidifier bag on the bookshelf, there was an immediate drop in humidity of 10% the following day.This product was a waste of money, and not all worth the additional cost.

This product does a great job keeping the inside windows of my car frost free. Saves a lot of time and effort in the morning.
