Battery life?????
I left it on the lowest setting in my truck for 6 days and when I came back it had 20% battery left. This things battery must have been crafted by Tony Stark.

Almost perfect?!
Looking for a reliable, high-quality headlamp? The Nitecore Nu33 fits the bill... mostly. While it's definitely well-made and has more than enough output for most outdoor adventures, the advertised 700 lumens for 4 hours is a bit of a stretch. In reality, it only puts out 700 lumens for the first few minutes before throttling down to around 400 lumens in the first hour and dropping to under 100 lumens after 2.5 to 3 hours. Don't be fooled by the slightly, false advertising - it's a common issue with headlamps, but it's still worth noting. (For more information, check out the Nu33 PDF on the Nitecore website.)The LED light is much, much warmer than a BD Spot (2021 version), so it is a matter of preference I guess. Great color render on both LED lights on this headlamp ( primary and the secondary LED ). In terms of size, the Nu33 is similar to the BD Spot (2021 version), but it may be a matter of personal preference which one you prefer. The Nu33 has a balanced weight and is comfortable to wear.I am attaching some pictures to compare the size between this light and BD spot ( 2021 version ).The Nitecore Nu33 headlamp's use of a USB-C port is a game-changer - goodbye to fumbling with AAA or AA batteries! Simply plug it into your phone charger and you'll be ready to go in just an hour. This is especially convenient for international travel, where finding batteries can sometimes be a hassle. One major downside of the Nitecore Nu33 headlamp is the absence of a red light shortcut and light level memory. This can be inconvenient in situations where you need to use red light in a pitch dark tent or cabin, as you have to turn on the primary (brightest center) LED first before switching to red. The lack of these features is a significant flaw in the design of the headlamp, in my opinion. Additionally, the water resistance rating of IP66 may not be sufficient for a serious outdoor use and it would be more reassuring if the headlamp had a higher rating of IP67 or IP68.
