After a fall where I rolled my ankle, I immediately went for the ice. Then I remembered I had this URIEL Ice & Go Cooling Bandage. I really wasn’t expecting it to be as effective as the ice and figured this would be more of a wrap you would use if you couldn’t get ice immediately. However, I found it to work just as well if not better than the ice. I think it was more like an overload to your senses that made me more focused on the cooling sensation of a larger area versus the underlining pain. I was really shocked at how well it actually worked. It was also less messy than the ice. I like that it easily fits in a first aid kit and you can immediately get relief even when you are camping or enjoying the outdoors. The bandage has good compression and is durable too. You could easily reuse it again. Overall I am very pleased and will be buying more.

It was great the day I used it. Once the menthol is gone…it’s a goner. Now you just have a wrap!

Please note: the rating is based because I haven't yet used this wrap I intentially ordered this cooling elastic wrap to add to my suitcase for vacation. I'm a world klutz and if we're doing any type of walking, I'm the one to twist an ankle. Weak ankles, so I usually have some type of heavy brace packed for day use, and basic ace wrap for at night. I'm leaning to using this wrap once back at the hotel, to help with swelling and just to feel good. The heavier braces I wear during the day aren't good for sleeping (tend to be a little to tight by the end of the day) but compression during the night helps my sleeping. I usually replace the clips with large safety pins or a bandage wrap that sticks to itself. If it works as I anticipate, this will be something that will be add to the vacation/first aid listing. So please, be sure to read the reviews from people who have used it in addition to this one.

Hut my ankle and wanted a wrap that i could sleep in and not get my bed wet. This aint it. I unwrapped and it smells like ben gay, not a problem. Then after securing to my ankle I noticed it was wet and it would not dry and wet through a towel. Not sure when this could be appropriate for use as it would wet clothes, socks, and make you slip on a floor. its a no for me
