A Heart Like Mary's: 31 Daily Meditations to Help You Live and Love as She Does

This beautiful little book has been a gift that keeps giving daily. Fr. Looney has done an outstanding job of unpacking golden nuggets of Our Lady’s Heart in ways you never could imagine. Definitely keeping this in my library and redoing this 31 day walk with Mary’s heart at least once or twice a year. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to become closer to our Lord through the gentleness and loving ways of His mother.

"A Heart Like Mary's" is a must have for anyone looking to model themselves after Mary's heart, faith and love. In his book Fr. Edward Looney gives us 31 daily meditations on different Marian attributes. Every day he shares the keys to living out Mary's heart through scripture, reflection, prayer and finally gives us a concrete step to take in our daily lives.I love this book because it is very specific in its mediations and gives a greater depth to Marian attributes than I had pondered before. The reflections are brief enough that I could easily read one every morning and poignant enough that each daily attribute stuck with me throughout the day. Each Marian attribute took me deeper into Mary's heart while pondering the scripture which in turn led me closer to her son. This book had a profound impact on my relationship with Mary by helping me grow closer to her in thought and action. I cannot recommend "A Heart Like Mary's " enough.

Empowering and motivating book.

This book was very inspirational. If you’ve never consecrated yourself to Mary’s Immaculate heart, this is a beautiful first step. If you’ve already consecrated yourself to the Immaculate heart of Mary, this may help to deepen your relationship with her. I highly recommend this book if you’re looking to deepen your relationship with the Blessed Virgin Mary.

I liked this book so much I just ordered 3 more to give away. 31 short daily meditations on attributes of Mary's heart. Day 1 was so useful to me that I read it over and over for several days before moving on to Day 2. The meditations and prayers are very short and easy to read but have great thoughts to help make us more holy/ more like Mary.

This is a great meditation book. Each day will have you reflecting and bringing you closer to Mary. I bought this during Lent and even gave it as a gift. Each daily reflection only takes around 10 minutes to read but you can reflect on them all day long. You will not regret purchasing this book.

I like the author's knowledge and love of Mary that is evident in his words. I will use these meditations several times throughout the year.

I have done a 33-day consecration to Mary prior to reading this book, but try to continue and deepen the devotion daily. This book was a complete joy to read through, work through, ponder, and pray for 31 days. I shall refer back to it often, and I am sure I will do the whole 31 days time and time again. So glad I found this book. If you love Mary and desire to imitate her, read this book!
