I'm glad I bought this book as it gave us info the SSA did not. Now we have time to make some changes to Medicare we didn't know about before that could have gotten us penalized at tax time. It's a quick, easy read. I read it in 1 day. Do yourself a favor and read this before your 65th birthday.

Often when a book or an article seeks to "debunk" myths, the myths really aren't that prevalent. But in the cases of this book, I have heard many of the falsehoods that the author cites and his explanation of reality is excellent. Even if you don't care about the myths, the detail and history given provide for a solid base for understanding Social Security.

You should buy all of his books - or, if you cannot, then ask your local public library to acquire them and then your whole community will have access to this treasured information!!!
