DevialetCocoon - Traveling Case for Phantom I - Grey

Fantastic fit and finish, the ONLY issue I have is that although it has an insert base, if you want to simply unzip it and hook up your Devialet with power and a connection the zipper doesn't go all the way down in the back, unlike the front. Otherwise, this thing is a MUST HAVE if you are moving it from one location to another, indoors to out!

This is something that is definitely worth buying if you plan on taking the Phantom with you. It fits perfectly and makes the Phantom easy to carry. Although it is not perfectly stable if you transport it in a car, there is nothing to worry about if it tips on its side during a particularly quick turn. The cocoon does its job and prevents any damage to the woofers.

Not here to talk about the price of the product or the Quality. Obviously if you’re buying a $3000+ speaker you would want to protect it with its accompanied carrying case, however when you need to transport the speaker you have to separately carry the power cord. What a design flaw in something that is supposed to be an all in one carry. I’ve contacted Devialet multiple times and they have heard this complaint and have yet to do anything about it. Time to put a power cord spot on your $350 case… I’ve honestly left the power cord at home a few times when bringing this amazing speaker everywhere. Big fail.

Product works great at protecting such an expensive speaker so in that regard, it’s worth it if you plan on moving it or taking it to parties. Since there’s really no alternative I could find, it’s a good option, albeit an expensive one.
