Blackstone Publishing Hell Divers VIII: King of the Wastes

All books in this series are a must read.

I have come to consider Nick Smith my favorite author, and after reading book one of his Hell Divers series, that was it - I was hooked and have been reading everything he's written. What a great concept and basis for a trip into a post apocalyptic future. Fell into a reading slump for too many months, but started reading HD VIII and by the time I got to the end, I was brought back into the fold!!! :-) Typical of Nick's works, do not try to second guess what's going to happen, because you can't, and that is what makes his books so good to me! I will say that when you get toward the end of this one , that putting it down is going to be difficult. A real edge of your seat adventure, and one I highly recommend!!! Now it's on to book IX!!!

Fantastic reading. Several readers seem to equate these stories with science lab textbooks.... They are STORIES guys, lighten up for hell's sake! These are future what ifs. The 'science' isn't good is not what 'WE' are reading for, and I'm a science guy. I've been reading scifi stories since before Asimov wore diapers! So, lighten up and just enjoy the work N. S. Smith has put into the characters. Waiting for #9 and maybe #10 of the series. Write On...
