I put magnetic tape on the outside of the phalange, and connected this to a 3” lined expandable hose to duct heat away from my amateur radio HF amplifier. It worked great.

My son is renovating his home and he replaced the dryer vents. He’d looked everywhere to find them and I was able to find what he wanted on Amazon. Great quality, fits flush to the wall.

This item has 6 screw holes, not 4 as pictured. There are no layout dimensions provided online or.in the package. There is no guarantee the item is the quality advertised since it does not match.

I used it on the diesel heater but it melted the plastic on the first use. I wouldn't recommend it for hot air or hot water.

The outer housing holes cracked instantly when trying to bolt it down. Very thin material.

3-inch size is too small for 3-inch dryer duct.

Melted down within 5 min of using on diesel heater.

Used it as a ventilators vent out. It does the job. Minus one star for being overpriced. There is nothing complicated about this part, should cost less.
