SINIVALIA Face Cream - Anti Ageing Night Cream and Moisturiser

I have just recently discovered this new skincare line (offered to me for review) and am very pleased with the results I am getting after just ten days of use. This face cream has everything I love: glorious, silky texture, fast absorption rate, the lightest, freshest scent, no sign of my skin breaking out, perfectly suitable for male skin and very young skin, made from entirely natural ingredients, and NOT tested on animals.After turning 61, something drastic was happening to my skin, despite a lifetime of daily care. The increasingly thick anti-age creams I was applying seemed to just sit heavily on the surface while deep lines were consolidating into definite wrinkles, especially after sunbathing. Since starting to use these light oils and the seaweed cream in combination, my face seems a lot more relaxed and the lines are less set. I also noticed a slight lightening of some fairly extensive sun-related discolouration on my cheeks. Whether I'm imagining it or not, it's a pleasant change that I was not expecting.I'm looking forward to updating this review in a few weeks' time but, for now, I am really excited about the change in my skin. Also the tin is very large (150 g), which is more than double compared to my last face cream. At this rate, it will last a very long time. If your skin is on the oily side, let the cream sink in and lightly remove the excess with the Rose Cleanser from the same Sinivalia range. It's more than luxurious!UPDATE: In the six months since first trying this, I have tested and reviewed several other skin care products, but this face cream is one I always go back to when my skin feels particularly dry. It is also my first choice after derma-rolling as I find it particularly soothing when my skin is a little irritated.

I have only been using this for a week, hence the 4 stars as I cannot give a long term opinion on it. However the short time I have had to try it, I am very pleased. It smells lovely, primarily of rose, with other background oils.. a little goes a long way and it's not too greasy. My skin feels well hydrated and it makes a great night cream. I wouldn't put this under make-up as I tend to have greasy skin, though it may be a fine day cream for those with drier skin. All in all an excellent cream, in a nice big tub. Recommended.

New review as of July 17th 2017Well, when I ran out of my face cream, I immediately hit reorder. Sadly, I'm probably going to have to throw this away. They changed the formula, it is no longer a seaweed based cream as far as I can tell.. but most importantly it has an OVERWHELMING Rose scent that is cloying. It actually makes it difficult for me to breathe when I use it, and I can smell it wafting off me for a long time afterwards. I was afraid to use it for a while holding my newborn close to me, the smell was that strong. It also makes it feel heavier. I seriously miss the old formula.Previous review: 5 StarsI needed a new face cream, and after much research decided to give this one a go.It seems expensive, but for the amount you get, it's really not (and a little goes a very long way, so this will last me a good long time). The tin will also be quite usable to me when I finally empty it, so in my eyes that's a bonus. I had never heard of the brand before, but after checking out their ingredients I decided that this was an option that worked for me.I am so glad I did. Since moving to England (from Colorado where it is really dry and one _must_ moisturize as if your life depends on it!), I was taken aback when my skin started getting dry and almost scaly no matter how often I moisturized. I believe this is due to the hard water where I am living, unfortunately there isn't much I can do about that at the moment, but I needed a moisturizer that would do something to help with that.I don't like using products with lots of chemicals, heck generally if I could diy it myself I would. But I needed something. So I got this. I have been using it for just under a week now, and I can definitely see and feel a difference in my skin. My skin is soft and supple, and I've got a bit of a healthy glow. I wear minimal makeup, or often times no makeup, and I do feel it's starting to even out my skin tone (which had become uneven since moving here). And no, I don't think it's wishful thinking since a coworker this morning commented that I was looking good.When trying a new moisturizer, I'm always worried about it making me greasy or clogging my pores as I have unfortunately had adult acne if I'm not super careful about what products I use. Well let me tell you, even being on my monthly cycle where my skin usually breaks out if you just look at it wrong, this stuff didn't cause me to break out or feel greasy. Normally half way through the work day I have to pat away the oil slick, but this week that I've been using this? Nope, not once. Nor did I feel the urge to immediately wash my face upon getting home in the evenings. And when I do wash my face, my skin still feels soft and supple.I've only been using it at night so that it gets the best chance at sinking into my skin.All in all, I will definitely be checking out other products by Sinivalia (whom I had never heard of before).

The face cream is great, feels silky, not greasy and keep skin hydrated. Now my favourite face cream, and I've tried many.I love the smell, it reminds me of the solid glue in tiny tubs I used at school 20 years ago.Negative points now : the tin is very fiddly to close and open (mine arrived beaten up a bit so that wouldn't help).A protective film type thing would be handy, between the cream and the lid. There was cream all over the tin when I received it.For the price the product costs that would be appreciated especially with the lid not closing properly.Finally, I bought the cream a few weeks back for 15.99 and it's now 24.99That's a big increase, I'm sure it's justified. Right ? I unfortunately won't buy it again at that price.

the cream is pleasant enough BUT I ordered it because it is called 'seaweed cream' and figured seaweed was the key ingredient and find no seaweed in the listed ingredients. who can explain this?
