This is the best Nutritional Yeast. I do not consume a lot therefore I do not need to buy 1.5 lb, but for the price and quality it is wroth it. I recommend it highly

I didn't even mean to buy this, I was looking for unfortified nutritional yeast and had never bought powder before, only the flakes. But it was delivered and I wanted to make a "cheese" sauce with it and it's what I had. It made the best tasting "cheese" sauce I've ever made, the flavor was incredibly fresh and it blended beautifully. I will always buy this brand from now on.

I'm a nutritional yeast lover - and I love a bargain. But this just doesn't taste good. It lacks the nutty cheesiness. Even the color is weird. Tan with barely a hint of yellow. Maybe the flavor & color have to do with being 'unfortified'? I'll try to work my way through this bag because - well, it's bought and paid for and taking up kitchen real estate. But it's just no bueno. Bummer.

This is just what I was looking for. Unfortified because I don’t want that synthetic B12, it has everything I need to make my food dishes complete. The price seems fair and it’s powder so it goes further as you will use less than the flakes. Great to make cheeses too!!
