I ordered the "Black" option with medium arch as orthopedic shoes for my son but instead I received very low quality cheap stuff which you can see as options "Brown" and "Tan" in the attached pics. Option "Black" is simply a misleading trick to catch your attention, so if you are looking for decent quality orthopedic shoes this is NOT what you will get here. Claimed a return.

The footbed of the sandal has an edge that lands right on the side of the big toe and instep that caused chafing of my daughter"s foot - where she had a bunion operation. I returned it from Canada which cost me $23 to get back a $61 refund. If there is a chance you have to return any item and have to pay for shipping know that you will lose at least the cost of shipping back to the supplier. It also took a month to return to the US from Canada, using Canada Post. T took almost 3 weeks from the US to Canada. This is a lot of hassle buying anything from the US to ship to Canada on Amazon.

I purchased these since I didn’t want to shell out for new Birks. They are quite comfortable. The arch support isn’t quite the same as the big brand but it’s definitely there. I’m a ladies 10.5 shoe (which doesn’t really exist) so I tend to have to go up a size. These are supposed to be an 11 but they JUST fit (in terms of length). You might want to consider going up a size. They are standard width. The loop over the toe was a bit snug at first but it has stretched a bit after wearing a couple of times. Once you adjust the straps they are quite secure on your foot which I really like. Overall the quality appears to be on par with the big brand but only time will tell (I got about 6 years out of my last pair of Birks!).

I will need a couple of months of wearing these sandals before I can comment on their comfort and how well they wear. All I can say now is that they are attractive and don't seem to be causing any undue foot problems. The price was good so I'm not expecting Birkenstock longevity.

I love these shoes. So comfortable. Great support for my heals spurs. Good quality. I loved so much I bought two mire pairs in different styles.

I ordered a size 8 but these arrived with some other sizing number (38) which I've just found out is equivalent to a size 7.5. VERY frustrating to not get the same size equivalent to what was ordered. Other than that they do seem good though.
