Have had this in my Golf MK6 1.6 TDI since July 2016. No complaints, can't say it seems to have improved fuel consumption but I haven't exactly been closely monitoring it. So easy to install and includes a sticker that tells mechanics not to replace the filter (I'd be livid if they did).Pros:Easy install as long as your able to use a Phillips screwdriver.Includes warning stickerIncludes a badass K&N logo sticker to make even the most mundane car look race ready.Cons:None apparent

I have had K & N air filters on various cars and motorcycles over the last 35 years. I've never ever had a problem and although not cheap in comparison to original replacement filters they do pay for themselves over their lifetime as you never have to replace them. However, depending upon the environment that they are used in they may require cleaning and re-oiling. Having said that, I purchased a K & N cleaning kit 20 years ago....and I'm still using it! It does allow the engine to breathe easier and may lead to a slight increase in horsepower and increase fuel mileage. Decided to purchase one for my Skoda VRS after having it remapped and am not regretting it

Very straight forward to fit. Better than cone filter me thinks. Has'nt chucked my EML light on like other filters had.

I ordered this as a replacement for my standard air filter on my sear Leon 1.9 s 105bhp. 8screws undone swapped filters replaced screws. Easy peasy and boy does it feel different acceleration is so much crisper. Why don't all cars have filters like this. It feels a different car. Oil change next should show even better performance.

Easy to fit, good quality. Hard to tell if it has improved the performance of my 2010 2.0l 170 tdi without putting the car on a dyno. My old filter needed replacing anyway. Says 50K miles before needing a clean and oil conditioning.

Soon after i put the filter in my VW golf tdi sports(2005),my fuel computer just kept creeping up as i drove, from 46.3 mpg urban to 52.4 urban,my last quarter tank lasted a lot longer than normal,my car felt more responsive with less peddle pressure and i don`t have to buy any more filters for the life of my car,whats not to like?
