ShelterLogicMaxAP Canopy Extension Kit, White, 10 x 20 ft., 25730

I purchased this shelter for a trip to Oklahoma dday paintball . The event is held in June and the weather in N.E. Oklahoma at that time of year varies to say the least . With that said I was looking for a well built shelter that wasn't extremely expensive , and versatile . This was the ticket , It is very well built , large main poles and a rugged canopy . I did not purchase the hold down kit ,which I'm sure would be sufficient for most any occasion , but instead built anchors that resembled spikes for the very rocky ground in that area . The extension wings were great for providing extra shade in the heat , but also folded down quickly when the weather turned bad. I found only two negatives in my opinion . First the top I purchased was white . Okay , you buy white and you probably want some light to come through without being in direct sunlight okay I got it . But it seemed to be glaring bright to me . Maybe due to the glossy texture of the material but I will purchase a darker color next time . Second were the extension poles themselves , They were okay , but on windy days the extension would whip them off if it was not held fairly tight ,which created a lot of stress on the extension poles . They held up , but I don't think they would take too much more stress . I made heavier duty poles for the next trip . So,after all this would I buy it again, most definitely , but I would buy a darker color if possible .

The description is deceiving so I called Shelder Logic to be sure I was getting what I thought. We wanted to use our two front and back side walls for the extension tops and were told that the kit came with four side panels which would have been perfect.In actuality it came with two tops. We haven't had a rain as yet using them, but they hold the dew out until you touch it to try to get the puddles off and you get covered with water. I would not call this water resistant.Another big flaw is in the poles. The directions that show you how to set up and hold the top tight (hard to do unless you have another four foot of room for each pool) do not match the pool construction. The drilled holes are too far down the poles. We ordered this from Amazon but called the company direct regarding this problem. After three phone calls they shipped out another set of poles to us free. They were the same. My husband had to drill holes near the tops in order to use the S rings and rope. We also thought because of the description that the poles would be larger than they are. They are only about an inch. My husband also has to do a lot of rope tying to get the top secure at each pole.We're glad to have an extension but the description leaves a lot to be desired for what you get. If you're not married to a handy man, I wouldn't recommend this.Just a side note: We do not have a Shelter Logic tent. We bought our tent at Sam's Club and it's a King Canopy. That company told me we would not be able to use this extension on our tent, but it works fine.

product was ordered from Unbeatable sales.com for a really great price, however they left much to be desired on customer communication side of things. After waiting several days for some sort of a shipping confirmation I emailed them to find out the status of my order, and expected ETA.after an exchange of 3 emails with my pointing out that I ordered this kit for an particular event and I was growing more concerned that it would ship in time, I was politely reminded by them of when I placed my order, and that they process orders in 3 to 8 business days.I did not get it in time for my event, but I will use it for my next event. Dont order from Unbeatable if you are on a tight schedule, and do not expect much customer service from them. The product however is awesome...

We used this to extend our ShelterLogic 10X20 instant pop-up canopy for a backyard birthday party. The product description says nothing about compatibility with these types of canopies but it did work. This is the good part. The bad part is that it was only a mildly windy day and the entire structure kept shaking and threatening to pull out of the ground. At one point we noticed that almost all of the ground anchors pulled out about 2", so we quickly readjusted them. It was stressful wondering whether the whole thing was going to blow down during the event. Fortunately it didn't. Also it would be nicer if the poles could adjust higher - they are fixed at only one position. It would have been nice to have a few more inches of head clearance, especially since the pop-up canopy is tall enough to allow for more headroom.The fabric was of a good quality, so we would definitely consider using these as sidewalls for a future event, but I think we're better off buying another pop-up canopy to extend our current setup rather than use this extension kit as a tent.

Picked this up for our church to extend the existing structure from a 10x20 shelter to a 30x20. You have to take care to stake out the poles properly when you have wind as the upward pressure tends to lift the structure and the poles separate easily. Otherwise, worked as advertised. Will see how it works when it is used as a wall instead of a ceiling at our next event.

Used to extend a 20 x 30 tent, instead of purchasing another tent. Worked well. Easy to assemble. No issues with durability during event. Would recommend.

I would liked to have had the pieces have a better fit! The mating sections had a lot of extra paint just where you join them and had to be filed and/or scraped off to fit. then when it came time to tear down we had a difficult time getting them apart!! All in all they held up good and when the RAINs came it was SOOOO nice to be able to drop one side and still have plenty of room to function1

Haven't quite got it set up yet... The only thing I am disappointed in is the size of the poles, thought they would be the same as the canopy poles. But so far it's great.

Easy to install/use with tent. Great product would recommend it. Good for walls and/or extending shade/rain cover.
