The difference between our two oils is XCT Oil requires 6 lbs. of coconut oil to produce and contains two medium chain fatty acid types while Brain Octane Oil requires 18 lbs. of coconut oil and is only the rarest, medium chain fatty acid chains.Brain Octane assists with cognitive function with some metabolic effects, and XCT is more metabolic with some cognitive effects. For those interested in a cognitive boost and easiest digestion, Brain Octane Oil is a great choice. For those looking to economize while getting a metabolic boost with a smaller cognitive effect, XCT will do. Some people mix different ratios of XCT Oil and Brain Octane Oil.

Q: Anyone have success with screwing on a pump action dispenser to this bottle? Was thinking it might help me avoid problems w/dribbling etc.

Vremi oil bottle enables you to squeeze the oil into the top (while upright) where it is measured before you serve it. Great for keeping track of how much is just right for your goals and digestion.

Q: What's the difference between(xct) this and brain octane?

Brain Octane is 18x more powerful than coconut oil. XCT is only about 6x's.

If you take it with food (as opposed to just coffee), it is much easier on your stomach. The most convenient thing I’ve found is mixing it in to pb2 (defatted peanut butter powder). It’s also good with barney’s almond powder. I also add a generous amount of cinnamon to the almond powder (great breakfast spread). I have to take several tablespoons a day for a rare medical condition, and mct nut butter is the only thing that made it possible.
