This is such a great set of colors! the variety of colors is amazing plus they are super pigmented! I do find if the layer of polishes isn't on the thinner side i do have problems with the gel bubbling underneath but with thin layers + a base coat i've found it's not much of a problem! the only other complaint i have is after about 2 1/2 weeks of wear i do start to see some chipping but overall for the price and quality i think it's a great beginner buy !

I am experienced with other gel polishes, and just not a fan of this formula. The multicolored one is the worst offender, but the flakes are so chunky that they are difficult to use without a thick layer of top coat to seal, so you end up with a bulky nail or an uneven surface. This can be especially annoying if on an accent nail as the other nails are more thin and then you have all of this extra gel on the accent finger.The non-glitter polishes are great.

the formula was thick which made it a little challenging to apply. I cured an extra 60 seconds. Oddly, a bubble formed under the polish on my thumb only so I had to redo that one. The color combos are very pretty. I used 424/rose gold glitter, 420/pale pink, and 422/bubble gum pink. This is two thin coats on each nail except the glitter which is three coats. I have purchased 5 other Beetles sets and this is the first set with the formula on the thick side. I've included photos; daylight indoor lighting, warm indoor lighting, and outdoor lighting.

Im currently experimenting with different gel kits as a sort of experiment to see which I want to invest in long term.So far, these gels are my top pick from brands on Amazon. Nice and thick, cures well (note: I do cure this brand 30 seconds longer than others, but end result is better and more consistent), very opaque for a gel. Im crossing my fingers that it lasts longer than others too, because then it will really tick all the boxes. Oh, and I love how this company chooses its color pallets. They dont just throw a bunch of ugly colors in with one they know you need lol.Only complaint so far: stickers on bottle are not an exact match to polish color. Hardly a complaint though, because this is gel lol, it cures the same way it looks wet... So its not like you could mess up over that. They DO match the photos on their amazon listings, so Im not mad, just a noteworthy mention to be fair.Will update when it finally peels/chips!

I don’t like not writing 5 star reviews, but i figured I want to let’s others know my experience. I’ve been going my own gel nails for about 3 years, so I wouldn’t say I’m inexperienced. So I was a little thrown off when it took a lot longer for these colors to cure with the lamp. Not only that, they started chipping and peeling within a few days when I’m used to my colors staying on for sometimes 2 weeks+. This was my first time trying the Beetles brand. I will give them a shot again to see if maybe it was just a first-time struggle.

I bought Winter Green, and I like the colors. I used 256 for the snowflake design, some fun stickers I got from Amazon, and the color is not navy, more of a dark royal blue. I only used 2 coats so that it stayed lighter, but I think additional coats would darken the color closer to navy. The second color pictured is actually a blend of 258 (a warm green) and 253 (a very bright turquoise). I mixed them in a little container to get more of a jade green and used a little paintbrush to apply it. It took longer to do with the smaller brush, but I'm pleased with the results. I think I can get a big range of blues and greens between this set and the Beetles black and white I have.The polish is a bit translucent, the green is about 4 coats and I can still see the edge of the nailbed through the polish. I did make the coats as thin as I could get them though, and the dark blue was more opaque. But given the price for this many colors I'm not mad about it. Six smaller bottles for less money than one regular bottle of Gelish is a nice tradeoff. Of course it won't be as quality, but it's nice to be able to play with more colors.

Beetles is the only gel polish I use now. I would consider myself pretty decent at gel polish at home now & love these polishes. They’re easy to work with, very opaque & I can have my nails last up to 4 weeks. These colors are great too! Definitely recommend!

I love all the beetles gels but for some reason 2 of them in this set were a clumpy bitty texture what comes out all bumpy texture on the nail unable to use two of them

And the small so bad ,can I return it please

Really nice gel colours that cure without issues, the nail art and brushes are good to, no complaints.

I wish it dries up quick.
