German Hela Delicate (Mild) Spicy Curry Ketchup - 1 x 800 ml

I was so desperate to get a bottle of this sauce I defy anyone who says it's not brilliant with a bratwurst & chips, since living in Germany years ago I haven't been able to buy it, my Son advised me to try Amazon, I ordered it one day last week the following morning u had a knock on my door with a parcel, it was pa aged so well, I was wondering what it was I couldn't believe it was my sauce, needless to say it's been used almost daily sin e then, the memories that this cause has evoked is incredible, Many Thanks the haste this arrived was incredible, great memories of Currywurst & Pommes Frites from The Local Imbiss 5* all the way & when this bottle is finishing I will be ordering the next bottle from this company, hands down Excellent from the order to delivery, Fantastic, what a superb deli, delivered as promised a Massive Thank You 😊

This is simply the best sauce in the world! Great with everything. Sweet and fruity with a mild spicy kick.Like everyone else, I had this sauce in Germany when I was a child with Bratwurst and even though that was decades ago, the sauce hasn't changed and is still as good as ever. Brings back very happy memories and I'm so happy that I came across this on amazon.It's a huge bottle - 800ml so it works out very good value for money. I've ordered some Schaslik as well but from ebay because I couldn't find that flavour on amazon. I can't wait!

I discovered this stuff when I was on holiday in Germany, and I'll be honest, the idea of curry ketchup sort of grossed me out. But it's like anything--don't knock it till you've tried it! This currygewürz is especially nice, the sauce is not too thick or too thin. The seasoning is perfectly balanced and has just the right level of sweetness. It's got that satisfying kick that fans of currygewürz will be craving.My favourite use for this is on sausages (like the Germans do with currywurst), or in place of HP sauce. So I'll happily put it on shepard's pie (is it weird that I'd put HP on there in the first place?), or use it to *spice up* an English breakfast.I was chuffed that this came on Amazon Prime as my first batch came straight from Germany, so it took a bit longer to arrive than the product did this time around.So whether it's for you or a special German in your life, put some chips in the oven, grill some sausages and slather this stuff all over it. You won't be disappointed.

Having tried currywurst at a German Christmas Market I wanted to make it at home. The sauce is the key but is extremely difficult to find outwith specialist suppliers in the uk.Not exactly cheap but the bottle is big enough to last a few weeks (we use it at least once a week at the moment as it is mine and my partners current favourite thing, and we don't go sparingly with it!)Also got a bottle for a friend of mine who was based in Germany with the Army, brought back some memories!

Smother a diced bratwurst with this juice and away you go, instant Curry Wurst! Sadly a meal not available outside Germany as most people go for kebabs and dodgy burgers from any high street fleapit.

With homemade Bratwurst, outstanding, love this sauce, will buy again, also bought the Thot one as well it's just as nice, having a small get together with fellow veterans for a currywurst BBQ, they will be surprised of memories from Germany. Outstanding service by the way😁

Oooo this is really lovely. I first had this on my Bratwurst in Germany and was disappointed that at the time it wasn't available in the UK, but it is now in three heat strengths. The kids love this too which is why I went for the mild, but I think I'm going to buy a Hot version and keep it just for me. Ha ha ha ha.... hard luck kids :-)

Ever since I was introduced to this sauce in Berlin back on 2007 its taste has always reminded me of Berlin. It's a lovely thick sauce that taste similar to the Chinese curry sauce but way better. This one isn't to spicy but if you like your sauce hotter there are hotter ones. In Berlin they have it with Frankfurters which are really large sausages. I have also found it goes well with Chicken too.
