I couldn’t count the number of oily skin face washes I’ve purchased over the years, some very good, some absolutely terrible. This one is definitely one I’d repurchase. Whilst not the best I’ve ever tried, it is amazing value for money compared with some of the best. A little goes a long way with this product and I use it after using my makeup remover cloth with water in the evening after a day of wearing skincare products and/or makeup and it really makes my face feel smooth and clean and gets rid of those excess oils. I also use it in the shower each morning and it’s never caused any flare ups or the usual purge I’ve had with other products.Would recommend this product to anyone looking for a cleanser on a budget with normal, sensitive, acne prone or oily skin types. I also use the Cetaphil face and body moisturiser daily and they work really well together!

Thank you LOCKDOWN because if we weren't in lockdown I would never have found this amazing product, I bought this because the product I normally buy isn't available due to the shop being closed. So I was using this as a stop gap.. no.. this is now my go to.I have always had oily skin and have struggled to find something that balances washing away the excess oil and not drying out my skin so I generate more oil and this is perfect. After washing my face feels clean but there is a slight silky feel left that means I haven't dried out my skin too much it has also had an impact on reducing blemishes so yeahh..Enjoy

After years of contemplating I finally ordered myself some Cataphil and as of yet have no regrets. It's a clear liquid that doesn't sting your nose with chemical smells infact it's reminding me of baby lotions. I have washed my face twice a day for 3 days lathering the product, making sure to leave it sit for a minute on my skin. Washing it off was a breeze. I hate face wash that refuses to budge your splashing and splashing yet the gluey, sticky residue will still remain but Cetaphil was so easy to wash off and as of yet has done nothing but hydrate, clean and clear my previously sore acne prone skin

Randomly started getting loads of closed comedonal acne on my cheeks, temples and chin - I’m 27 and never had bad skin in my life but at the start of the year literally my face gained blackheads galore and red bumps all over - they were not so much spots.. tried all sorts of cleansers and home remedies and nothing was working m..these photos are about 2 months apart... hadn’t really noticed how much better my skin had got until I took this photo. It’s hard to say it was 100% this cleanser as I’ve definitely been trying not to touch my face ( ever ever) and drinking an insane amount of water every day also been *avoiding* dairy where I can.. but who knows I reckon it’s probably a mixture of everything..never done a review before but reckon it’s definitely worth a try especially for the price. The smell isn’t phenomenal to be honest but it’s not terrible and it foams up well which I like.. it also leaves my skin feeling clean but not super tight like some cleansers do..

This works amazingly well for my oily skin and removes oils so well without drying it out!!!. I know this product doesn't work for normal and dry skin as it makes it too dry, so please read what skin your skin care products are for! As for the person who has super oily skin, this works amazingly. I mean I have already bought and used like 5 bottles, which says something. It does not make my skin form more spots which is great! It doesn't have fancy smell which is GOOD. If your skincare products have smell, they are not good! Unless the smell is naturally derived. I think I will keep on buying this product for the rest of my life! Also the applicator is use handy. Just press ad done. No need to unscrew lids

This is amazing, my skin looks so good. A lot of the reviews are people with skin problems and oiley skin. I have dry areas around my face which foundation and powder will cling to and create a cakey, patchy look. Ever since i began using this my makeup goes on so well and I no longer have those horrible patches.I use this when I wake up and before I go to bed, I use 2 or 3 squirts which I know is a bit excessive. I rub it in to my face for 60secs+ and wash it off thepat my face with a towel.My skin looks so good that ive been going out without makeup which I have NeVer done. It wasn't because I had bad skin, It was because I liked how the face makeup evened my skin tone and created a mask to hind under. Now my skin looks and feels so healthy that I no longer feel the need to hide my face. My family have complimented how amazing my skin looks too.For the price this is a must buy, one of my favourite cleansers ever.

Grate for oily skin I’ve dealt with all the skin for the longest time and this is really helped.

I don't normally take time out to write reviews but I thought it was worth it on this occasion. I've been suffering from acne breakouts over the last year or so (I'm in my late 20's) and nothing I have tried has cleared it up. I've been using this product morning and night for about a week and I can't believe the difference in my skin! Almost all the spots on my chin have cleared up (there is a tiny bit of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation remaining, but I'm sure it will clear over time) and my skin feels great. If anything it is a tiny bit dried out, but nothing that is worrying me or can't be fixed. I love the Cetaphil range and have also started using the daily defence moisturiser with SPF. Good value for money and obvious results!
