Makes an old key feel like new
My old Lexus RX300 plastic key casing kept cracking near to the metal key, making the key unstable and also giving it an old, scruffy appearance. My latest replacement case was going the same way (clearly a design flaw), so when I saw these silicone cases, I felt like a solution may be at hand. And so it proved. The item arrived and is of good quality. It is very snug, making it difficult to fit, but that is the whole point of the product. Once on, I was delighted (a) at the feel of the key and (b) at the level of confidence it gave me that the key would now stay in one piece. Overall, I'm delighted, and no longer ashamed to leave the keys on a surface for people to see. My car is always immaculate. Now I have a key that doesn't let the side down.

Difficult to put on
It's great but putting it on is a nightmare... took ages

What a great idea.
What a really smart idea.My key fell apart due to broken plastic next to the retaining screw and I'm lucky I noticed before pocketing my keys. The inner electronics bit was lying on the ground and it would have cost hundreds to get a new key from Lexus.I found this online and had it delivered the same day by Amazon.The case is very tight fit and the silicone is thick and sturdy. It encloses the key and clamps it shut. It feels nice to the touch and looks a lot nicer than the battered 16 year old key that I've been carrying around.My only concern is how to remove this case to fit a new key fob battery. I think I'll probably have to cut it out and buy another case. To be honest I'm happy to do that, if necessary.

No instructions.You have to insert the key fob from the key ring end and not where the key shaft protrudes.Nice to use, good quality.

Silicone car key cover, can't say much else
Takes a bit of fiddling around and patience to get the cover over and onto your keys however when on it's a decent and protective cover.
