Bosch Home and Garden Cordless Drill/Driver EasyDrill 1200 (1 battery, 12 Volt System, in carrying case)

Bought this for the very frequent little jobs that mainly require drilling holes into plasterboard or softwood. Good quality, nice and light for one-handed use, especially in confined spaces which also makes it ideal as a screwdriver. Good control, but not a massive amount of torque (you knew that, right?). Definitely not for masonry or big jobs, so if you are building a fence you probably want something with more power else it will take forever. Also if drilling into hardwood, you may need to start with a small bit and step up. But for a neat little drill to keep in the house, this makes an ideal companion to the beast in the garage.

This is the drill I always wanted and the size is perfect and it's really easy to use.I've used this so far with stud walls and with screws, but I haven't used it with other surfaces yet.You need to buy a separate kit with the pieces you need to start working, this is the only negative point I see to this product.

First time purchasing a drill, this was easy to use, is lightweight and works just great for my needs. The battery lasts a long time and the light was very handy to see what your doing.

nothing wrong with this drill and like most Bosch tools well made. Would be 5 stars if it had an indicator of when the battery is running low [as the bigger drill does]. However, it is what it says it is. It is very light and good for small jobs but if you need a drill and will only buy one you are better off with the bigger drill. This one is for light DIY ....

I can always rely on Bosch for quality, long-lived power tools and this drill/screwdriver is no exception.Bought as a Xmas present for our Grandson who is an up and coming 'maker' and he loves it.I know it will serve him well for many years to come.Fast charging and very good battery capacity it is an essential for any serious DIY fan.

The EasyDrill 1200 arrived very quickly. Very pleased with its performance. Plenty of Torque in its motor with plenty of control options on the selector. The Drill has a nice balanced feel in the hand. Not used it a great deal yet, but on the jobs I have have done with it they were performed with ease.Plenty of power in the 1.5Ah li-ion battery. The Technical specification on the supplied charging unit 1110 CV supplied with the EasyDrill 1200 states that the 1.5Ah battery from fully discharged will take 70 minutes to reach 80% of full charge and 94 minutes to reach 100% of full Charge. This is a very good time. No hesitation in recommending this product.

The drill arrived with prompt service from Amazon.It is a great size for DIY around the home.I like the fact that I can get into small and awkward places such as built-in cupboards with this drill. I do have a much larger corded and admittedly more powerful drill, but it does not have the manoeuvrability that this lovely Bosch easy drill does.I also use it for when I am crafting as it is a perfect size and far more accessible due to its cordless ability.I made an additional purchase of of the Bosch cordless sander from the same 12 volt range. I love the fact that I can quickly and easily interchange between which of the two tools I need.I plan to buy further tools from the Bosch Easy Power For All range as I am impressed with the two tools I have already.Buy with confidence!
