Excellent set... will save you a lot of time !
Great little set which really saved me a lot of time... as you will see from the photo I had to make a lot of shoes for a recent cake.Easy to use, and the instructions were clear.Good sizing... many kits only do medium or large shoes, but this kit lets you make realistic sized shoes if you are say modelling a figure as well. But I also find it useful even when not making shoes as has many sizes in the square and rounds... including tiny ones... which is always useful to have.I used petal/flower paste, and only needed really small amounts. Do not just use fondant as this will not dry hard enough.Worked on a non stick board which helped as meant I didn't need to use cornflour which can dry the paste too quickly.A few tips/suggestionsMake the soles and form them... then leave to dry for a good 30 mins... much easier to add the heelsI used egg white to glue them, it will stick better than water, but you could also use proper cake glue.Considering these are plastic they cut well, but I would recommend rubbing the edges to ensure a smooth line. The set could benefit from a long thin cutter for the straps, especially if you are a hobby baker with little equipment... but as I have many cutters I was okThe heels for me were the trickiest. I got the hang of it, but what would really add to the set is proper heel shapes to save some time. As you are working with such small bits, forming the heels took a little timeAlso useful to have something on hand to use as a former. I used side of packaging but as I was making a lot I ran out of space to used edge of a foam flower mat to dry the soles in a curve ready for the heels.

Absolutely Fantastic, made making the shoes fun and enjoyable without worrying about handcutting the soles!
I bought these as I was given the book "twenty to make - mini sugar shoes" and I wanted to make a shoe cake for my Mum's birthday. These worked like a dream, cut well and didn't "pull" the sugarpaste out of shape at all, would definitely recommend

not bad little cutters, specially for miniaturists that are new to clay.
Tools are what I expected to be honest....I purchased them for polymer clay and took a chance.. After testing them out it seems the softer and thicker the clay the better the cut, hit and miss with thin clay. These cutters would have been much better made from metal rather than plastic..The booklet inside gives only a basic overview and means you may need to purchase the actual shoe book which i will have to do......the cutters themselves are a great miniature size as I stated before it's such a shame they were not produced in metal.all in all would i recommend, yes I would, they are great little cutters that Ive not found elsewhere

Does take some time making them as they are so tiny but did give the cake a nice effect.
Very expensive for what they are. Does take some time making them as they are so tiny but did give the cake a nice effect.

Too small for what I needed it for. The leave cutters were adequate and all the other oval pieces were ok. I was going to use the feet cutters to do lisianthus but they were too small for that purpose. Ok for cupcakes cutouts

Fantastic little shoe kit
Fantastic little shoe kit. I would highly recommend purchasing the mini sugar shoes book to go with it, and the little tiny cutters are brilliant for making filigree butterflies too.
