BESTEK 200W Power Inverter DC 12V to AC 230V 240V 3-in-1 Car Charger Cigarette Lighter Socket + AC Plug + Dual USB Charging Ports Voltage Converter

Just felt it is fair to give this BESTEK 200W Power Inverter DC a just review. I had mine since November 2017, thats over 5 years and as of now February 2023, it is still working. I spend a fair bit of time on the road and I bought it to charge my laptop while working in the vehicle as a passenger and the device never disappoint. I used to have a HP Spectre 360, now a MacBook Pro, never an issue charging both laptops.

This product is very good, it seems to work well with my laptop which is what I bought it for. The only problems I found (and they are minor) are with the cable provided. The cigarette lighter bulb it quite big and as the cable comes out of the end and is quite ridged it was getting near my gear stick. A shorter bulb where the cable cable out the bottom would be much better. I caught the cable while driving once, and it unplugged itself from the unit. I did not know until I stopped later. A more positive locking mechanism for the cable into the unit would be nice like a twist fit connector. I think next time I will plug it into the lighter socket in the back.

Dead of arrival. Can't even charge a phone with the charger plugged into it. Managed it fine on the usb port on the front but 240v socket did nothing. It's obviously poor quality. I loved the look of this. Compact, light cute and portable but it's cheaply made and frankly rubbish.

Product is misleadingly small, I was expecting something larger. It really is the size of takeaway coffee cup - in fact, based on the colour, there maybe a relationship with a certain high street coffee establishment! It matters not to me as the device is solid, well designed and constructed, it worked as expected and on numerous recent uses, a couple when camping, has performed 100%.I bought an extension cable allowing the device to used outside my vehicle, which only cost a few quid but made use of this inverter much easier.It's important users are aware of the devices limitations, which are published clearly in the bumph.I used on an inflatable mattress with in built 200W pump. Took around 4 minutes no issues. I left the vehicle ticking over during that use.

I'd considered buying another spare battery for my Canon DSLR camera for a South African safari but this product was not only cheaper but a more versatile option that would also be useful for my camping trips in the UK. The on-off switch is a useful feature to avoid blowing fuses as I've done before when inflating an airbed through the car charging socket and it has useful USB slots for charging mobile phones too.Its innovative design means it can be held in your car's drink holder and the unobtrusive fan keeps it cool whilst charging. This is one of the most useful travel accessories I've ever bought, 5 stars all the way.

I need a nebuliser and this small neat inverter enables me to use it in the car. Have only used it twice so far and it works well. It sits comfortably in the cup holder.However, the top has fallen off as it was very stiff. Apart from that happy with it so far and don’t want to send it back as I plan to use it a lot in the coming weeks and don’t want to be without it.
