Not as soft as some but still didn’t hurt her fingers or anything wasn’t itchy depends what you are wanting it for, she just makes scarfs due to her Alzheimer’s and arthritis to keep her busy

Q: What UK size knitting needles and crochet hooks are suitable for this yarn?

I can only answer on the crochet hook side, as I don't tend to knit. I've used crochet hooks from 3.00 - 4.5 and had no trouble. I supposed it would depend on what your making. If you go smaller than 3.00 I think youd find the wool would split. Bigger and it would just fall off the hook. Hope that helps.

No they come in a mix bundle you don’t choose but was nice colours
