So far so good...
Got these Dec 2021 for the bargain price of £12. They are very bright yet still warm like a incandesant bulb, and at 5.5 watts are supposed to be equivilant of 40 watts but feel more like 60 watts to me. The colour temp is perfect too, 2700 Kelvin with a Colour Rendering Index (CRI) of 80. So not really suitable for say the kitchen. There are many reviews complaining about longevity. The reason for this is because the LEDs are being overdriven. So the 15,000 hour life span should be taken with a pinch of salt.bigclivedotcom on youtube explains this in his "Inside a new Philips ultra-efficient LED lamp (with schematic)" video and his "The lamps you're not allowed to have. Exploring the Dubai lamps" video. The dubai lamps are now being sold as the Philips ultra-efficient LED here in the UK which as bigclivedotcom explains and tearsdown, how these new ones have over twice the number of strips of LED's than these have and are underdriven, rather than overdriven like these.But...while the new ones use less electricity by a few watts and might last as long as the promised 50,000 hours due to them being underdriven they cost a staggering £10 each, whereas these are £2 each if you wait till they are on amazon discount price, i.e. £12 for 6.So what you'd save in electric and longevity you'd be paying five times more for one bulb compared to the cost of these. For the mean time until the new ones come down to £5 or less in a few years time, these are the best option. They are not bright enough for a kitchen or for some for a living room but perfect for hallways, cupboards, bedrooms etc. Saying that one bulb is bright enough for my living room as I don't like it super bright. 60 watts equivilant is fine for me even though they supposed to be rated as 40 equivilant they really do feel like 60 watts +.

Good light but slight hum
Gives a good light from a table lamp. The light is slightly warmer than the bright white I use appropriately elsewhere. In the position the lamp is, the LED bulb gives a slight but audible hum in the absence of any covering other sound, e.g. TV. If you like silence and are sensitive to noise, I would suggest that you think of another bulb type. I cannot comment on longevity as I have only one day's experience of use of the bulb.

great bright light with less power
great bright light with less power, to me 40w light at 5.5w power is good value and lasts for years, to me for size rooms im in, it feels more power and a 60w light, so bonus. lucky ive tested bulbs and is true to using very little electric at all as if it was using a normal aa battery for years. tech has come along way since filament bulbs that blow after use

Good product but poor packaging
Great products and all work, for now. Product arrived different to pictured as 6 separate bulbs rather than a multipack of 6.Disappointed with the packagingConsidering the product is relatively fragile, it was wrapped in bubble wrap and packaged in a postage bag, rather than robust cardboard. As a result, one of the boxes was crumpled, but thankfully, the bulb was fine.

Quality and energy saving!
Excellent bulbs, can’t say how strange it is to write this but it feels retro to have the old bulb shape (and glass), it’s great and a welcome addition! They appear to be quality bulbs and after using them they provide a very good light and overall I’m very impressed and pleased with them! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these bulbs! If you are looking for new bulbs to replace old energy saving bulbs don’t think twice to buy these! Love these bulbs!

Good brand
Philips is a good brand to buy. We will have to see how the LEDs work.

Good for the price, one flaw
These are economical, bright and a reliable brand so should last. But there's one flaw, I've used 2 and they both emit an audible buzzing. Not enough of a concern for me to bother returning as using them for landing and kitchen but definitely worth knowing if you intend to use in living/dining room.
