My bag was a little different from the picture but for the better, fortunately. This bag is huge and not for carrying just ones bits and pieces, book, pen/note pad etc. around. A student or somebody needing to carry lots of stuff about everyday will be very pleased with this bag. I am so happy with this bag although I will only use it now and then when off for the day or weekend. It will take laptop (17"), flask of tea, packed lunch, charger/cables, big book, magazine, notepad, small binoculars.......well, you get, i'm sure. It's big ! Colour is good, looks good, strap is good, internal zip pockets are good, external pocket is good and it seems tough. Just loaded it with groceries so now realize that I will also use it for those 'little' shopping outings too. It didn't come with shoulder pad, i'll make one. The bag is a bargain at £35.50. The cat is not too sure however and he's wise to be a little apprehensive. I see us off to the beach and woods soon, he'll love it in there, loads of room. Inside= L 17" / W 5" plus 1.25" front pocket / H 12.5" (+lid/flap flexibility) Outside = L 18" / W 6.5" / H 14.5" inc. handle. Just loaded it with drill, weighty batteries, charger and heavy tools......great....and is better, stronger and cheaper than many branded shoulder tool bags.....and so much better looking. Might get another one........

Despite what others have said, I did not detect a "smell".. The sellers were extremely good with replies to my queries and it arrived remarkably quickly. I needed a laptop case which could accommodate my larger than is currently fashionable laptop and it does fit the bill. However it is a "Mens" item and as a small person it does dominate me !! It is what I needed and it is good quality. It has great extra pockets and capacity , very stylish, very practical . I don't I could have got anything better,.

There are definite pros and cons to this bag. Certainly it looks good and smells strongly of leather, but there are some very weak and flimsey points. The handle is weak and already beginning to stretch a little with the load of the laptop and several books. The belt straps too have slightly enlarged eye holes and this is after only a couple of weeks.It is a good size and has its admirers. You could certainly say that at £33, it was certainly worth the money but if you are looking to put more than a book or a pad or two, you need to be aware that this item won't stand the test of time.Interestingly, a few spots of rain have left marks on the leather today.So I don't hate it but you do get what you pay for of course.

Absolutely perfect, so much so, my colleagues are buying them. I have used this as my day to day bag for work (school teacher) and it fits my laptop, files and paperwork in there safely and confidently. The construction is outstanding, the finish of the leather is impressive and it gives a real sophisticated look as well as being super practical. The inside is lined with smooth and tasteful coloured canvas with internally provided padding for your laptop. There are a multitude of internal dividers for your paperwork or files and would easily take a laptop and a couple of A4 ring binder folders with ease. It is exactly what I was looking for in practicality, looks, construction and finish and it is even cheaper than many of the leading styles and makes that I have seen elsewhere on the Internet. Treat yourself to a little bit of retro geek chic.

The media could not be loaded.  Looking at the negative reviews in Amazon. not sure about buying this item so happy I took the decision to buy and go with the positive reviews and was not disappointed. My friends can’t believe it was under £100 Thank you for the people who took the trouble to post a positive review

For the money not a bad buy. The leather is of a reasonable quality and strap is strong with a good selection of lengths. The front straps can be a little fiddly and one of my buckles was badly corroded, which I sorted with some brasso. The only negative is that the buckles could be made of a higher quality metal, but with a little cleaning and a drop of oil they should last well.

The bag arrived the day after ordering and I'm surprised by its size ( fair enough, I did order the 18 inch ) and, for the price, its quality. Lined, and divided into 3 sections inside, with 2 additional internal zipped side pockets , it's robust and more than big enough for my laptop and work paraphernalia. Stitching is good and the leather smell mentioned in other reviews is not strong , and quickly diminished to a slight and pleasant level . Great value bag.

Having had it for a few months, I have found it to be still leaving oil marks on surfaces. The shoulder strap is poorly designed and the buckle digs into the shoulder. I don't use the strap any more.The buckles and straps to close the top flap down are not thick or hard enough to make it easy for pulling them through to close the flap down. They are also placed on the pocket which when you pick up the bag by the handle, creates creases and strains the pocket leatherThe rivets used to hold the straps onto the bag are cheap and thin. On the inside of the bag, the flat parts of are bendingand creating a sharp edge which has on a few occasions cut my fingersOverall a good looking bag that has been poorly designed without the user in mind.
