Great gadget for plug holes

Great, but not heavy duty
It does what you'd expect, but at about 5mm width, if that, it's not likely to withstand a tough blockage. Ours may have been a special case though, the blockage not being what you'd expect in a kitchen pipe...

Excellent
Really happy that it cured a long standing slow clearing bath. Concerned that it would either be too flexible or not flexible enough, but is just right. Also concerned that it would be too thick to go down the plughole. Would have helped if described in more detail. Worked first time!

Too thin to do anything
It fits the plug hole that’s about the only useful part. This is too thin to pick anything up, it goes a fair way down the drain but didn’t bring anything back up. Can’t return as used so save your money and buy something else.

Only thing that's works
My drains was so thick with crap nothing touched it. This was absolutely amazing and broke through whatever was there so I have a working sink again.

Works with perseverence
This is good value for money as a middle-of-the-road, versatile sized, drain wire. Size-wise it's only really suitable for small drains with average sized blockages. I would say it would be excellent for getting hair out of bath drains.I must admit, I didn't check the size before I bought it. I thought it was going to be bigger. But I needed to unlock the loo so I gave it a go. With it being smaller than expected I needed to get stuck in more than I wanted. However, I have some long rubber gloves so I was able to push the wire quite a way down the drain. It took quite a bit of elbow grease and Moving it around but after about 15 minutes I could hear the glug glug of water beginning to move past the blockage and then I was able to pull out a rather unpleasant mass. For larger drains such as toilets I would recommend getting a larger and more robust version, but this did an excellent job considering its size.

Might work, didnt pull anything up for me
Firstly, make sure you have a good grip on it before cutting the ties, it will spring open and nearly take your eye out. Easy to use I suppose but didnt work for us. I know there is hair down my plug hole but this didnt get anything. Difficult to maneuver but they be our pipe work. Definitely didnt get very far down our pipes. So overall I am pretty meh about it. Also, you need something to tie it back up with because it acts like a spring and is a pain to store
