Really Impressed That This Works with ‘MyDay’ Coopervision Daily Disposable contact lenses
This is not something I’m recommending AT ALL. I’m not an optician, but I’ve just recently started using contact lenses as i was getting fed up of constantly switching between short and long distance glasses and living my daily life wearing one pair and having another pair on my head like an Alice band. Contacts suit me very very well and I took to them like a duck to water, but they are expensive. I’ve got daily ones by MyDay Coopervision. The opticians advise was to take them out and replace them daily for optimum eye hygiene and safety etc. I wanted to just experiment and try extending the life of mine to 2 days of wear, purely to half the expense of them. My contacts are £48 for a box of left & right with different prescriptions. That’s a big extra outlay but I much prefer the convenience of contacts over glasses. What I do now is remove these after the 1st day of use and put them in a Contact Lens Barrel Case filled with this solution. After trying this for a week now, I’ve found it very very effective and has prolonged my dailies to being able to get 2 days use out of them. Again, like I say, I’m NOT recommending this. For me keeping my contacts in this solution overnight is brilliant. I find them being in this solution is more comfortable and kinder on my eyes than the solution in the original contact lens pouch. I find it cleans the lenses thoroughly, helped with having a twisting top barrel contact lens barrel. This solution is very smothering and refreshing on my eyes and appears to give me an extra days wear out of my daily lenses. I wouldn’t want to push it any more beyond 2 days wear, but at least they’ll now last twice as long, so this has worked for me personally. I’m really happy and thrilled with the results. This solution is great and is a massive bottle that’ll last me ages.

INDICATIONS: BAUSCH & LOMB Sensitive Eyes Plus Saline Solution is a sterile preserved solution for rinsing after cleaning and before lens placement on the eye. For use with heat disinfection of soft contact lenses, chemical disinfection (cold) or hydrogen peroxide systems. It can also be used as a diluent for enzymatic tablets. DIRECTIONS OF USE! - Rinsing after cleaning: Clean your lenses with a daily cleaner as instructed by your eye care practitioner. After cleaning, thoroughly rinse lenses with BAUSCH & LOMB Sensitive Eyes Plus Saline Solution by holding the lens between the index finger and the thumb or placing it in the palm of the hand. Direct a steady stream of BAUSCH & LOMB Sensitive Eyes Plus Saline Solution onto the lens. - Heat Disinfection of Soft Contact Lenses: Fill the chambers of your lens storage case 2/3 full with fresh BAUSCH & LOMB Sensitive Eyes Plus Saline Solution. Place the cleaned soft contact lenses into the appropriate chambers. Tightly close the caps of the chambers. Place the lens storage case into the disinfecting unit and follow the operating instructions for the unit. After disinfection, your lenses are ready for placement on the eye. - Chemical Disinfection and Hydrogen Peroxide Systems: Clean, rinse and disinfect your lenses as directed by your eye care practitioner. Before placing the lenses on your eyes, rinse them thoroughly with BAUSCH & LOMB Sensitive Eyes Plus Saline Solution. Lenses that are disinfected may absorb ingredients from the disinfecting solution which may cause irritation to the eye. A final rinse may reduce the potential for irritation. - Protein Removal/Enzyme Tablets: Clean and rinse your lenses as directed by your eye care practitioner. BAUSCH & LOMB Sensitive Eyes Plus Saline Solution may be used to dissolve enzymatic tablets. WARNINGS. Sterile until opened. Discard any remaining solution 6 months after opening. Do not use beyond expiry date. Always wash and rinse your hands before handling your lenses. PRECAUTIONS. Always clean, rinse and disinfect lenses each time you remove them from your eyes. Never re-use the BAUSCH & LOMB Sensitive Eyes Plus Saline Solution. Fresh BAUSCH & LOMB Sensitive Eyes Plus Saline Solution must be used daily. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use. After placing the lenses on your eyes, empty your lens storage case, and rinse with BAUSCH & LOMB Sensitive Eyes Plus Saline Solution. To avoid contamination, do not touch the opening of the bottle to any surface. Lens care procedures recommended by your practitioner must be followed daily. Failure to follow these procedures may result in the development of serious eye infections. If irritation occurs, persists or increases, discontinue use and consult your eye care practitioner.
