Nifty and fast as a bullet :)
Let's just address the elephant in the room. I bought this at £3.50 but its value is at £1 from Ikea. Not a chance in this world I can get to an Ikea shop for £2.50 (I live 1 hour away from the nearest Ikea store) and there's a not chance I could have this item delivered from Ikea for £2.50. For starters, they don't even offer this item to purchase online. So while £3.50 seems at first a bit steep to pay for a £1 item, the markup seems completely reasonable, and I am grateful for sellers to go through the trouble to buy those for people like me.Item itself is very nifty, powerful, fast as a bullet and will produce the thickest foam in a flash. I like to warm my milk first, then add a capful of sugar vanilla syrup. Then I choose a narrow tall glass to do the foam. You will need room for the wave of foam that this little gadget will create. I broke my first milk frother because I was trying to flim the action and froth some milk at the same time. Tut Tut. The froth maker kept on going and it broke the long stick thing. Lesson learned :) Do not froth and film at the same time :D

HEALTH HAZARD DO NOT BUY
Oh my goodness! DO NOT BUY. after FINALLY getting the batteries in after a struggle because of the lid. I turned it off by switch, placed down and after 5 mins smelt burning plastic!! I tried to pick it up but was too hot! It's a serious health hazard!! I'm still waiting for my refund!!

Works well. Broke in 20 days.
This product is excellent when it works. It produces a thick foam very easily (dairy, oat and peanut milk). I would have rated it a 5 star except that it arrived on 8 March and is now broken (28 March). I used it every day once or twice. The metal shaft came off (see picture) from day 2 of purchase. It was easy to push back in and continued to work, though it did come off every day. Unfortunately, on day 20 of purchase, the metal shaft would not stay in place for long enough to complete frothing a cup of milk. As no returns are permitted, it is going in the bin along with the money paid.

Brilliant gadget for a frothy coffee
Bought one of these and absolutely love it. Does exactly what you want it to and froths milk quickly and effectively. In fact bought one for work and since then numerous colleagues and also family members have bought one. They are so well priced and if you like a 'frothy coffee' then this product will definitely bee for you. For the price you can't go wrong. Easy to rinse under the tap and the batteries last for some time.

Wrong Image for item!!!!
I can't review this item because although the image shows a good quality Bonsen Kitchen appliance, I actually received a £1 IKEA plastic piece of rubbish for my £7.99!False advertising!!!Now I have to go to the trouble of going to the Postt Office to return it even though I'm self isolating!I'm so annoyed at this Company! My star rating should be none at all 😡

Don't waste money on this
Absolutely awful product! Don't waste money on this. I put batteries in it and it worked for about 1 minute and then broke down. Have tried many different batteries of different brands and types (re-usable and non) and none of them work. Even when it did work, it didn't froth the milk at all, it simply buzzed a bit in the milk.

BE WARY! Id give less than 1 star if possible
I put batteries in, item worked fine. I switched it off, put it in the drawer and left the room. A few minutes later I heard a weird buzzing noise in kitchen, found it was the frother in the drawer. It had turned itself on and when I went to pick it up it was red hot and outer plastic handle even melted a little. It wouldnt turn off til I removed the batteries. For the price I wasn't expecting much but I certainly wasn't expecting it to burn my fingers either. Would definitely NOT recommend

Works fine but I prefer the Bodum Frother
This product works fine at frothing the milk. It is a bit flimsy so you need to be careful how you store it. The foam produced is reasonable. It does persist for a while but you don't get a thick foam like you would from a high street coffee shop. I find the foam is a bit light and airy. If you prefer a denser foam I have had better results with the Bodum milk frother but that will set you back about £15. I bought both frothers because I wanted one for when I'm at work and the other for at home. I would recommend the Bodum if you aren't worried about the cost but otherwise for £2 this one is great. (I was going to say you can't beat it but that would be a bit of a disadvantage for a frother)! :) Other product mentioned: Bodum Latteo Milk Frother (Glass Handle, Heat Resistant, 0.25 L/8 oz) - Black Updated this review to 1 star as it is impossible (very difficult) to get the batteries out. I haven't managed to get them out. May have to break it to get them out!!!
