Friendly Soap - Sweet & Uplifting Lemongrass Soap (95g), Plant-Based, Cruelty-Free, Made By Hand, No Preservatives or Sulphates, Sustainable

I would so love to give this soap 5 stars but I can not. The problem is the coarse "grains" (hemp?) that are in it. I used it in the shower and it felt like it was scratching me even when using it ever so lightly. Later that evening when I was changing into my pj's I noticed circular scratches all around my torso. The grains (or whatever is used as an exfoliant) are so sharp they actually caused scratches in my skin which are still not gone...:((The only way to get around this problem is to lather it up in your hands and use the suds that way or to use it only for your hands.The smell is wonderful and I will always support any company that is doing their best to provide eco friendly, natural products that are not tested on animals. PLEASE PLEASE remove those grains or mill them much finer.

Previously bought Petchouli soap from 'Friendly' a couple of times and really like it, so thought I'd give the Lemongrass a try. Quite disappointed at poor fragrance and appearance, so will not buy again and cannot recommend either. No problem with oatmeal texture, just very poor scent and expected more for the price. We ended up flushing down the loo to get rid off.But would still buy Patchouli again.

Beautiful eco friendly soap. I use this soap specifically to wash my under arms as I find regular shower gel has an affect to the way in which I sweat! (That's another story) however this soap has really done the job in which I intended it to. I read a few reviews of folk complaining about the tiny hemp bit, this is easily prevented by using a soap pouch! I would defo recommend this soap as it is not drying and harsh.

I love this beautiful silky soap, the best and most pure and for me, a great price for purity.

Smells lovely and lots of soapy suds, nice to use. Downsides are the exfoliating hemp bran pieces can be a little sharp and rough on the skin. Also the soap runs out far too quick (mines was gone after a week of light use). At this price, I won't be buying again.

We all used this an had really bad rash on our hands after only two days I had to chuck it away shame hands were so sore
