NOT FOR LOADS
this is a ski rack at best - not a handler of heavy loads, that's for certain, but it looks great and for the price i'd say it's excellent.just dont put a wheel up there or any other heavy load and you should be good

Solid roof rack
This rack is similar in design to some well known “name brand” racks. Biggest difference is this one uses steel for the fairing and side panels. It’s heavier, but it’s also a couple hundred dollars less expensive.Packaging was a little skimpy, a few pieces were scratched up in transit. Some of the threads on the aluminum crosspieces were coated with the textured finish, which prevented the bolts from threading on. Cleaning the threads was kind of a pain.Once installed, the back fairing rubbed up against the shark fin, had to grind out a ~1/4” radius to get it to fit. Touched up the cut and scratches with black enamel before reinstalling.Overall: This rack is solid, has minimal wind noise, with plenty of room to add on accessories and cargo. This is a great option for an off-road style rack if you’re willing/capable of doing some modifying. If you’re not very handy this is probably not for you.

Good product, pretty solid and a good price.
Coating got into some of the threads so the bolts were hard to start, but fit well.

Pretty good
Pretty good product, crossbars with the slot for tie downs are weak. Ended up just strapping all the way around the bars instead of using a tie down point in the slots

No grinder necessary
Don’t let the antenna comments scare you. Some customers are saying you have to cut a notch for the antenna to fit and if you follow the instructions, you just might.Pro tip: assemble the rack on the ground per the directions but leave the rearmost piece off. After the rack is mounted on the roof (but not torqued), THEN add the final rear piece. Due to the shape of the shark fin, it’s difficult to finagle the entire rack system around it without scratching the paint so some customers are reaching for the grinder. Do it my way and you’re golden. Also, the directions says it takes 40 minutes to install. It probably would have if the surface coating wasn’t globbed on around the bolt holes, making it difficult to get the bolt threads started. Leaving bolts threaded into the holes before surface coating would solve this. Kind of a pain but still it only took about 2 hours by myself.Aside from that, I’m super stoked with this rack. Inexpensive and looks aggressive.

half the cost of the "brand name ones"
Looks great on my tacoma and took me about an hour to install by myself. find the youtube videos for quick instructions. the other brands are 700-900 bucks. this one cost less than half and has the same features and looks. unless you are rich, i would recommend this roof rack! with the saving I bought two containers and will mount them ups soons!I bought these tslots and they work for me! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088WV5KZT?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Packaged horribly
It came in a thin cardboard box with little protection on the inside, pieces were bent, and areas had nicks. nothing that I didn’t get sorted out though but some stuff took some fitting, just know I did have to egg out some holes because the back bracket contacted theantenna before I was able to line up the holes to mount the rack to the roof. so if your not resourceful this isn’t the product for you, its not a direct fit. I have found that there is a vibration that occurs from the wind deflector when either going over 80mph or in strong winds, the deflector buckles in the middle from incorrect dimensions and allows air to force it up and down as if you were waving a sheet of tin up and down, just makes a rattling noise from banging up against the front support bar.UPDATE- if your planning on mounting side facing lights in provided cut outs be prepared to jb weld them to the rack because there is little to no room to add any kind of mounting bracket for the lights, a 43” light bar does fit well on the front but I had to make spacers to get the light bar to sit above the wind deflector on the front of the rack because the mounting bar sits about 2 inches below the top of the wind deflector. Adding lights to this rack was not simple per say and came with challenges.
