Calcium Carbonate 500g Limestone Flour for Reptiles * Poultry

I bought this to make some home made chalk paint. I have tried Annie sloan, rust-oleum, and the aldi versions in the past but obviously they work out to be quite pricey. I gave this a go by making a paste with 2 tablespoons of the powder, about 4 table spoons of water. I added the paste to a 100 ml sample pot of regular emulsion paint and voila ended up with virtually free chalk paint. I have painted alot of furniture with this mix. The application and finish is almost as good as the store bought stuff. The only thing I would say is that it has a very slightly grainier or rougher finish. I didn't mind this at all. Use a little less powder if you want the finish to be smoother.

Ordered this to make homemade gesso for my art projects. Works well, and I think this amount will last me a long time. Service was excellent. Arrived only a couple of days after ordering.
