Parrot MKI9xxx Control Almond

Brilliant piece of kit, regretfully it came with no programming instructions. Have not been able to use it. Still having to use my existing on with buttons missing and lettering coming off. What arrived is in beautiful condition, just a shame l am lacking the knowledge to program It.

Replacement on my Parrot 9200

No instructions so had to YouTube installation.

My original control pad unfortunately fell out of my car without me knowing and was later found smashed into pieces on the road. I ordered a replacement through Amazon as at roughly £30 it was the best price around. The product arrived swiftly and after the batteries arrived it was quickly installed in my car. You have to buy a battery separately but you can pick up a couple of CR2032s on Amazon very cheap.Pairing the remote with the existing Parrot system was very simple (MKi9200 in my case). All it takes is to hold down the green, red and play/pause buttons at the same time. Once the remote starts pairing a message will appear on the screen saying "Remote Pairing". This will disappear a few seconds later and then you're good to go.I'm deducting one star only because the control pad is probably the weakest link in the otherwise great Parrot system. Before the unfortunate end my remote faced, the buttons were not very responsive and sometimes required quite a few presses before they would do anything. This seems to be a general issue with the pads as doing a bit of research on the internet threw up quite a few reports of the same issue. All in all though this is a very well priced replacement and the control pad is currently working flawlessly.

For the flimsy device it is and it's function it's a ridiculous price for something so limited, but is essential for parrot devices to work properly I was stuck as my car came with the mki9200 but no remote so for a year I've put off buying this daft thing, now I've got it it's just poorly made slow responding piece of plastic

The control pad arrived quickly and with no fuss. Initially it was a bit of a pain to sync to the Parrot system, but a quick visit to Halfords sorted that and it is working well now. The control pad though is the weak link in an otherwise excellent Parrot product - basically the internal wiring cannot cope with the amount of handling it invariably gets.I should also say that I initially left poor feedback, but this was an error on my part. The seller contacted me quickly to try and solve the problem - but it was my problem, basically I was being a muppet!!I would recommend the seller. You have to have the control pad, but it a weak link.

I bought a car and it had the parrot Bluetooth system in but no control pad so just bought the pad hoping it works and it’s fantastic and works great love it.

Product works perfectly. Only two monir issues, 1) It doesnt come with a battery. They do say this, I just missed it, so that was annoying. 2) The installation instructions that come with it are wrong, they say " hold down the pause & play btton whilst pressing the red call button repeatably", this does not work and only causes frustration. What you should do is turn on the ignition, hold the play & pause button, red and green buttons at the same time and it pairs striaght away.Product is the same as the original and works, so all good
