Great adapter at a very reasonable cost
A great item, I have used it on my a6000 with a number of lenses, with focus peaking on the a6000 it's a breeze to manually focus any lens which is why I wasn't worried if the focussing was on the slow side. Couldn't justify shelling out £420 for a Metabones adapter, I bought the kit of a6000 and two lenses 16-50mm and 50-200mm for £650 including P&P in Amazon Warehouse deal so it wouldn't make any sense to pay over half that again for a lens adapter. I'm not a pixel peeper, I remember what my prints were like from years ago with a 110 little camera. At the time we thought that these prints were great. How times and expectations change.I have used the adapter with the following lenses:Canon 50mm f1.8Sigma 150-600 (225-900mm full frame equivalent) (it's like a lens cap on the back of it), it auto focuses ok at 150 but it's manual focus at 600 which is not a problem with Sony's great focus peaking. I have Focus magnification set up but I notice it doesn't work with the adapter attached.Tokina AT-X PRO 11-16mm F2.8 DX Lens (equal to 16.5-24mm full frame) so nice and wideIt will also take my Canon kit lens and 50-250mm lens also in fact it will take all my Canon lensesFor the money I highly recommend it

Don't buy it!
Worked pretty well at first but in less than 12 months it started to disfunction and at 10 months after purchase failed completely. It literally fell apart!Seller was Andoer. There is a UK telephone number on the seller's web site but is a non-functioning number. I seem to be left with no redress, even though I would have expected it to come with at least a 12 month guarantee. I strongly advise not to buy this product.

Not perfect but very good at this price.
Works OK with my Sony cameras and a canon 70-200 L is usm, although you do lose some options. EXIF seems complete except the lens name is missing. Manual focus has to be set on the lens (easy, as there is a switch). You lose the Auto AFS and DMF camera settings. You also lose Zone focus and expand flexible spot. But I rarely use these so it is not important. Focus is slightly slower than native Sony lenses (as expected) and probably not good for fast movement. Low contrast subjects cause focusing problems so best to switch to manual focus for those. Some of these problems are probably be due to the different brand of lens.Note - this does work on my full frame camera, the Sony A7Riii, but you get a cropped result, consequently fewer pixels. This is a lens issue. If you want full frame then use a lens designed for full frame.

change your body, keep your lenses
Received very quickly, mediocre packaging but product feels and appears to be very well made - well-finished metal work, nice release button and unlike some reviews I have read, I find the tripod adapter to be pretty sturdy and solid. The adapter feels tight and solid on my A7Rii body and lenses mount well and again feel solid with no sign of play on my sample. The autofocus works on my Canon 100mm f2,8 macro L but it doesn't give native lens speed - certainly usable and supposedly better on faster lenses. I can't compare this to the Metabones, but that's six times the price, I can say I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend this adapter to a friend.

An excellent product but with a significant flaw
(Would be 5 stars but, see below). The adapter is well made, fits to the camera and lenses easily, is solid and with good anti-flare design and matt-black coatings inside. It works well and as described by the manufacturer with the expected slow auto-focusing as noted in other reviews; I intend to use mainly manual focusing.Testing it for flare issues (as have been reported elsewhere on the web for this adapter) I found little to worry about; I notice that there is some black felting stuck on near the back inside edge so perhaps the manufacturer has modified it in response to these flare reports. So far, I would give the product 5 stars. However, the supplied screw-on tripod foot is not well designed and is the cause of my giving only three stars. It is wobbly, partly because of the two small rubber pads built in to it but even without these (easily removed) it does not hold the camera and lens firmly enough. This matters, especially if you are shooting on a tripod with a telephoto lens at slow speeds, you simply cannot afford to have a wobbly set-up. The Sony cameras for which the adapter is intended do require good shooting technique to get the best quality images and a shaky tripod foot does not allow this. you could use the camera's tripod mounting hole but that is not advised with telephoto lenses because of the resulting strain on the lens mounting plate. Of course, users of bean-bags might not find this to be an issue for them.A further problem is that the base of this foot is not quite parallel to the camera base; however, that might not matter to some people.Possibly the manufacturer will change the design of this foot following adverse reports like this as they do seem to be responsive to feedback; I hope so as it is an urgently required change.

Don't get this for AF, if you wan't it for MF, it beats the alternatives on grounds of value.
Will let you control aperture.AF is really slow, it will really hunt for it 95% of the time and half the time it won't lock on. Much slower than the kit lens on the a6000 or the canon lenses I tried on my EOS 50D.That said, my lenses are not in the compatible list and I only need it for manual focus, which makes it a better alternative to the more expensive adapters out there.Build quality is fine, and although the body is really small it seems to be ok with heavier lenses, threads are a bit sluggish when tightening but once its on it will stay on.Performance in Video mode is very poor with tested lenses, so only for stills.Tested on a6000 with EF 50mm f1.4 and EF 28-135mm f3.5-5.6.

compra adaptador

Best quality and Supported to Firm ware
Good build quality , Best fitting for E mount sony cameras especially Sony A series ( A6000 , A6300 etc. )But first of all " ENABLE " the " RELEASE W/O LENS " feature in camera settings● And now abouts its working..1. On Canon 50mm- it works fluently , autofocus works well , capture good quality images.2. On Canon 18-55mm- It works well but using this lens on Manual focus is preferable , as autofocus ON will make this work like you are using your cam on AF-C focus mode.Thank you.

Was ist da los? .
