Keeps them entertained for hours and helps them learn and interact on a number of levels.
My four year old nephew really enjoyed this. More the action of the drilling and unscrewing of the pegs than any real desire to design, but as a fan of anything that lights up, he really enjoyed screwing in all the pegs and then flicking the switch to unveil his creation! The booklet has a number of designs for the children to copy which helps extend the enjoyability of the product as they are not limited to trying to formulate designs of their, less creative, imagination. The process of them copying the shapes and colours of the designs in the book also helps their cognitive development. The toy itself seems quite robust and was able to withstand the usual abuse to be expected of a young child. Additionally, while not for <3yo children, the screws are still quite large so should not present a choking hazard to smaller children playing in the vicinity (supervised!!)

Great toy
Bought this for my grandchildren (all under 4) to play with at my house. They love it, particularly the drill and the way the picture lights up. We have to go in a dark cupboard after picture is made. All part of the fun. Just wish I could buy a second drill on its own as also have the car that comes apart. The drill with that is not easy for little people. Recommend, if your own children have one, to hide it and get it out rainy days. Think that's why my grandchildren love it so much. If they could play with all the time think they would not bother with it so much.

A big hit with my 3 year old son
This has been a great git with my 3 year old son.He likes to copy his daddy by using a drill. Its great for fine motor skills and with the addition of the light he can see all the colours and patterns he has created.any time his older cousins come over they fight over it.It is a very sturdy toy that has had alot of abuse and still works well to this day.Well worth the money in my opinion.I have added a picture of it beside the original one (also a good buy) so people can compare the two. Both sets of screws can be used on either one

Colourful and different construction/coordination toy
Purchased for 5 year old and wondered about it being too young but seems to keep attention quite happily. 8 year old sister was keen to try it out too.The lights in the box unit are a small string of tiny LED’s. That don’t appear to be fixed in overly well, more just lying in the bottom tray. But it does still manage to light up the bolts which are nicely coloured and fun. Lights up a little brighter in some areas that others but the kids didn’t seem to notice or mind. The ‘lights up to sound mode’ isn’t it best function for sure. Mainly flickering seemingly random but again, the kids found it fun which is the main thing.Good for coordination and did come with a little book of patterns to copy too to.Drill works fine for screw and reverse unscrew and lights up also as you pull trigger.

Hours of fun
Amazing toy. Got it for my 3 year old for Christmas and he's still very much into it 6 months later. His friends also always ask to play with it when they come round. At the moment he mainly randomly screws and unscrews the nuts in and out of tye tray, but he's recently picked up the book that illustrates how to do the designs and he's trying to create these so I envisage that this toy will grow with him and provide several more years of fun play. Top buy.

Sturdy and good quality
Same day delivery! Great robust and sturdy. Bought for a bright and inquisitive two and half year old. I opened up the packaging and installed batteries to ensure a quick ‘open and play’ experience on Christmas Day! In doing so I realised that this is a great little set, but I suspect it’ll require a good supply of batteries.

Top Spielzeug für kleine Schrauber
Tolles Spiel.

Broken already!
My son loved this toy and spent hours using it until it has had a small metal part break in the drill rendering it useless. It didn't last long at all sadly.
