I've also had a 'locked' back upon waking every morning for years due to a strained back, but had just become used to it and found an automated back massager to deal with this.I've been down the normal route of cod liver oil and multi vitamins without any noticeable change.After reading multiple websites, this sounded worth a try. After a week and a half of taking half a tablet, I honestly, hand on heart can say I wake up without any back pain. This was totally unexpected. I decided to give it a few days, just to make sure the lack of pain wasn't a fluke. Day after day I wake without any back pain. I never thought this could happen. My ankles still feel a little stiff but there's definite improvement.On the 'down' side these tablets are HUGE and I can't manage even half without gagging. Instead I cut the tablets in half and use a pestle and morter to grind them into powder. I prepare a week's worth in test tubes so even if I'm rushing in the morning, I can chugg one down and run. This sounds like a lot of faff and prep, but the results have been worth it for me. I hadn't realised how painful and stiff parts of me had become until it disappeared.
