BillinghamBillingham SP40 Leather Shoulder Pad - Tan

It should come with the bags but hey ho, it's not REALLY expensive - and it gives the bag buyer the option to save a few pounds and go without the pad if they want to (in other words, Billingham could include it with the bag purchase and just add the price on). It's really comfortable, looks nice, doesn't move about on the strap too much and moulds to your shoulder in time (though not straight away). Its slightly high in its profile but that's a consequence of its materials and quality. Good on the Hadley Pro and necessary in my opinion. Good on the Hadley small, but more optional than necessary - though I like it and think it adds to the comfort for a long day of carrying camera + 2 lenses. Would be overkill for the Hadley Digital.

I recently purchased a Hadley Large. The shoulder pad makes a huge difference!! I have an older SP15 type which is just a simple wider piece of leather. This new SP40 is completely different! Reinforced with extra padding makes carrying the Hadley Large a comfortable experience!

Adds comfort to hiking around with a fully laden Billingham bag. Well made as expected. Downside is the price. Not worth the price point, as alternative, cheaper shoulder pads are available at a fraction of the cost.

Good little shoulder pad, very well made as you would expect from Billingham. It's not cheap, but the quality is excellent. No doubt it will last for years.

I've had my Billingham Hadley Pro for about a year now and never thought at buying this shoulder pad at first until I realised that I almost always had to have it across my body to make it more comfortable when carrying it around. My reluctance at buying this shoulder pad was obviously as many other people have commented was due to the price and I've lived without it but as my shoulders are tapered, the strap kept on sliding down causing me to adjust it every couple of steps I took. I decided to bite the bullet and purchase the shoulder pad and couldn't be happier now. Its grippy and thick with plenty of padding to distribute the weight more evenly whilst stopping it from sliding down my shoulders! Hurrah!Overall, its great and does look like it completes the look of my Hadley Pro and definitely makes it more comfortable when carrying a bit of weighty camera gear and other stuff but downside to it is the fact that I purchased it for £30. Something which, having paid quite a bit for the Hadley Pro this shoulder pad *should* have been provided in the first place...

Fits my Billingham photo bag just perfect - same leather, same quality, same look. When you have a Leica inside, it needs to be top quality in every detail - so counts for this shoulder pad. And it made my bag a lot more comfortable to carry, as promised.

Nice but CRAZY expensive for what it is...

This is a great replacement for my 20 year old Billingham Hadley pad, that's seen a lot of use.The quality, feel and look of the new one are typically up to Billinghams usual standard.Here's to the next 20 years!

J'ai acheté ce produit en complément de mon sac Billingham Hadley Small.Etant déjà adepte de la marque, je n'ai pas été surpris par la la qualité de fabrication : le cuir sent le cuir, les coutures semblent robuste et les finitions sont parfaites.Cet accessoire apporte un réel plus en terme de confort et surtout de maintien ; la surface en contact avec l'épaule est très bien rembourrée si bien que même avec un sac chargé au maximum, le port reste très confortable.Je recommande vivement cet article.

Verwende diesen Schulterpolster für meine Billingham`s Hadley small & 550.- perfekte Passform- leicht zu verschieben (aber nicht zuleicht!)- mindert den Druck auf die Schultern erheblich; bin des öfteren mit meiner Hadley small (ca 3,5 kg mit der Ausrüstung) in der Street & Reportagefotografie unterwegs und möchte das Teil nicht mehr missen! Für meine ca 5-7 kg schwere gefüllte 550er sowieso...- Top verarbeitet- Fügt sich perfekt in das Erscheinungsbild der (Billingham-) Tasche ein, sehr harmonisch- Preis finde ich ok, Qualität hat seinen Preis (...kostet aber auch nur "einfach")- Made in England - Ja, anfangs war es für mich sehr ungewohnt zu lesen, da unsere Augen ja zusehends nur mehr auf Made in China (...Vietnam, Indonesien, usw...) -Schilder/Aufdrucke fixiert respektive daran gewöhnt sindBedenkenlos zu empfehlen - Freude auf lange Sicht ist fast garantiert - und vom Druck des Camerabag`s erleichtete Schultern sowieso...

Anche se non sono pochi quelli che si lamentano del fatto che lo spallaccio non sia già ncluso nell'acquisto delle borse Billingham, bisogna ammettere che si tratta di un oggetto di un certo pregio, realizzato a mano con gran cura e con ottimi materiali (come tutti i prodotti della casa inglese).Nell'uso effettivo lo spallaccio si è rivelato razionale ed efficiente nello svolgere le due fondamentali funzioni: impedire che scivoli dalla spalla e distribuire meglio il peso della borsa (anche nel caso la si indossi a tracolla).L'ho provato con le due Billingham che uso abitualmente (la Hadley Small e la Hadley Pro) e sono completamente soddisfatto.Grazie alla accorta politica dei prezzi Amazon, il costo appare assolutamente adeguato.Impeccabile, come al solito, la consegna.
