What I think about the dmr pedals
I like this pedal a lot and will probably be using them again I find they are a bit slippery when really wet and muddyAnd the mud doesn’t really stick to them so in my opinion I think you should buy a pair (I have been using theses pedals for 2 months now and have only had good results from them

Best upgrade to my MTB
These pedals are brilliant. I did lots of research before choosing the DMR V8's. I was tempted by the V6 pedals as they come in more colours however, I am so glad I got the V8. As you can see from the picture of my old standard pedal to these new ones, they are a huge upgrade. My feet stay connected even over rock gardens and roots on the trails.

fitted as expected
everything with the pedals are grate though I only received a single syringe of grease so I then had to purchase a single one to have the correct amount (one per pedal) , other than that they were awesome.

Brilliant once lubed
You absolutely need more grease than is supplied. But once sufficiently lubricated these pedals are great. Fantastic grip, just be careful of your shins!!!

Don’t know where they got the 115mm
I don’t know where they got the 115mm for because as you can see it only 90 so it a lot narrower than expected grippy though but a little bit uncomfortable

Great Pedals for the price!
Ordered some of these for my hard tail MTB, great pedals with great grip. Would even consider using them on my downhill rig. The pins are super grippy in that, if you accidentally catch one in the shin, it'll leave make you bleed a little but that's the price you pay. They come with a little syringe of grease and instructions to fill until grease starts to come out between the axle and the pedal body (or something similar). This is in no way achievable with the tiny syringe supplied and the reason they're not getting top marks. Not really an issue if you've got some teflon grease and a grease gun to hand but if you need to buy those that's another £10 expense. The V12 gets around this with a sealed bearing which doesn't need greasing but these are fine if you don't mind a bit of pre-riding prep.

Pedals
so far so good, good size pedal for larger feet with a good grip

Grippy, but very heavy.
Seem well made. The ring around the main spindle for keeping dust out of the bearings is an odd idea/design, can't see it working well. And they are very heavy. However I bought them for grip, not to reduce the weight of the bike, I have some SPD pedals for that. And from a grip point of view they are excellent. Having now fitted them, I do however wish I had paid the extra and got the V12's. But for the price, they are excellent.
