Scottoiler refill oils - 500ml Standard Blue……

Does as it says on the tin. Assuming you have fitted a Scottoiler this gives a constant drip of oil to the rear sprocket which protects and lubricates while the engine is running. Great stuff!!

Refill bottles lasts a fair while, will have to buy the filling nozzle separately if you don’t already have it

I seem to have written the whole review in the headline, but also have to write something here. Hmm.... well, is it good value? Dunno, it's not like you can get this stuff from another manufacturer to compare. It's expensive for oil. But then my last bottle lasted quite a while. Bigger, better value bottles would be preferable I reckon.You'll need to have the refiller pipe from a previous bottle or you'll need to buy one separately if not. I suppose that's sensible since otherwise Scottoil would have to include the cost of the pipe and then we'd all be complaining that we already have a pipe. Worth noting that you can get the pack including the refiller pipe with this oil and it's cheaper than if you buy it separately.I like my Scottoiler (now I've refitted it correctly - something the dealer who supplied my bike couldn't manage), so I quite like this refill and I reckon I've done quite well to say that much in a review about an oil refill :-0

This is superb. Don't know how much I've gone through in twenty years, but my Ninja Nine is still on its original chain and sprocket at 56000 miles. All down to Scottoiler.

It's good oil when on although ridiculously expensive for what it is. It washes off far too easily also which means you get rust on chain unless you dry the chain after getting it wet and wipe with oily rag

Good value for money

It does what chain lube is supposed to do. Best part is it washes off your clothes if it happens to fling on it. Use it in my Scott oiler and only have to top it off once every 500 miles or so.

Bon graissage de la chaine, même si le litre d'huile revient quand même assez cher... Néanmoins la longévité du kit chaine est bien meilleure, et il faut bien reconnaitre qu'il est pratique de pouvoir rouler sous la pluie sans s'inquiéter de l'état de la chaine.Personnellement je recommande d'utiliser une seringue pour le remplissage du scottoiler, plutôt que le bec verseur à visser sur la bouteille; moins de risque d'avoir un accident (avec gros nettoyage en perspective...)
