Yes, it's more expensive than most of its competitors, but it works so well, and is a generous size and is quick boil & easy to clean.And fits the decor & matches other SMEG products.

Shame water level has no indicator light
Smart looking kettle No quieter or noisier than other makes I have had.Water level is not easy to view disappointed Smeg could not stretch to an indicator light taking price of product into consideration. Easy open lid is useful My last kettle was a Kitchen Aid and it constantly dripped. The anti drip spout on the Smeg does the job well so no more wiping up each time I do a brew.

Retro styled kettle
Love this kettle. Controls are easy to understand and you can easily boil up the amount of water you need. There is no need to overfill the kettle.Smeg are a reliable manufacturer and I hope to have this kettle for many years to come.It also looks very stylish on the worktop.
