Great value !!
Excellent product. Arrived very quickly and was well packaged. It is very easy to use and took me 5 minutes to set up. If your bike does not have quick-release wheels, there is a quick-release spindle included to convert your bike. If your bike already has quick-release wheels then all you need to do is twist the knobs either side to widen the gap until your wheel fits inside and the nuts on either side of your wheel will fit snugly into the fixings on the PedalPro. It can be a little difficult to hold the bike and adjust each side, as there are two knobs to turn on both sides, so it would have been easier for me if someone had held the bike in place while I adjusted each side. having said that I did it OK, and each side tightened up well. I tightened up the large knob which drags against the rear tyre which also holds the bike firm. Make sure that you have the PedalPro around the right way, with the large rear wheel stop at the back! I had it around the wrong way the first time I tried to fit the bike into it ~ best to look at the picture!! I also changed my rear tyre from mountain bike tyre to road tyre and it is now much quieter. Great product, does what it says on the tin, safe and sturdy ~ would recommend.

Basic , reliable , does the job , trainer
The trainer is very easy to assemble and is very sturdy easy to put away the noise level isn't to bad but it does make some noise , I counteract that with headphones and music when I train I watch a virtual cycle ride on tube and away I go so the noise isn't a factor for me unless obviously I don't listen to music but then again the noise level isn't to bad anyway all in all a basic trainer it does the job and thats all you need

Very Very Very Loud
The media could not be loaded. Although this is a great way to turn your bike into an exercise bike. The noise it makes is unbearable. The attached video shows the noise at slow speed using my hand to peddle however the faster you peddle the sound gets even louder and more unbearable. I realise the type of tyre you have is going to affect the sound it makes. I have a mountain bike with thick tread therefore if you have a road bike with slick treads it may be quieter. This fact should be stated in the description as I would not have purchased it if I had known the level of noise. If you don’t mind extreme levels of very loud wailing noise while exercising then this will be a good purchase. I would not recommend it if you live in a flat as your neighbours will not be happy.

29" wheels can work
Product is fine. sturdy and smooth. added strip magnets on inner steel rotor to smoothen out the rotation and increase intensity a bit. good move if u good with DIY. Stronger magnets will make it way hard so go easy.Only issue was my Ridgeback Flight 3.0 has 29 inch wheels and the rear wheel hub was too wide by 2 cm so could not fit in the original configuration with those tension ears on the inside. Also and the tyre would touch the floor . SOOOOOO i used to 5 pence coins inside the hinges and it gave me 3/4 inch clearance . Second issue is the hub width, can be solved if you take one side completely out, and remove the cup butterfly securing wing nut. Now I know this was never meant for 29 inch wheels but it works with some creative moding. On my street bike with smooth tyres this is fantastic. Never saw the point of the resistance adjuster driven ones as you can use the bikes gears to sort that out. Very good workouts and way more convenient than a spin bike for me. Its also built like a tank with good materials and includes a through spindle bolt, but both bikes worked without the one they gave me.Should have got it months ago….but glad I have it now

Built like a battleship!
The weather has been horrible all winter. All the mountain biking trails are flooded and I'm bored with mud. So I thought I'd get a bit of pedalling practice and decided to try something which used the bike I'm used to, but didn't cost a fortune (in case I didn't like it).Anyway, this heavy box arrived and I extracted a heavy steel well-engineered frame and magnetic resistance device, as well as a front wheel stand, back wheel skewer and put the lot together in around 10 minutes.I had read that it was a bit noisy, so I charged my noise cancelling headphones, got a show on my iPad and set off for a pleasant 30 minute ride.It was just about perfect, I could adjust the resistance while pedalling, the noise was inadibl (good phones!) and I was as comfrtable as on my usual bike (because I was on it!)My summary is: excellent value, splendidly built, and has kept me from stopping cycling due to mud!

Excellent cycle trainer.
Great piece of kit, easy to set up & good value. I have it set up in the garden under a roofed gazebo as it is quite loud (tyre noise).

A bit loud but does the job
Easy to use. I bought this turbo trainer for my decathlon MTB (26 inch wheel with axle) and at first, it would not fit (one nut was too large). After filing it, it did and I can now use the product. It is a bit loud but am currently using my original mountain tyres so will change them. The trainer is very stable and I am overall happy with it.It would be nice to clarify the wheel requirements in the description.
