So easy to use and works brilliantly
I'm currently fitting our new kitchen and a novice plumber. We had copper pipes all the way up to our old kitchen tap so they needed to be cut. I'd assumed a junior hacksaw would be needed but did some research and found this wonderful product. It's so easy to use, you simply slide it on the pipe and rotate it.The cut is perfectly clean and very smooth. The tool fits in tight spots easily and offers great value for money.Simply brilliant.I hope you find my review helpful.

Feels solidly built and made my job easy.
Being a very reluctant DIY person, and not having done any plumbing for over 30 years, I decided to invest in this 15mm quick cut pipe cutter as I had a new kitchen tap to fit which needed a little reconfiguration of the pipework. The trusty junior hacksaw which I used in the dim and distant past is no longer recommended in these days with so much advice available on YouTube for example. This piece of kit enabled me to do the job with relative easy, cutting through the pipe work to get the old tap out and then making the cuts I need for the reconfiguration. I used it 8 or 9 times with no problem, three or four circuits and it each time it was through with a neat bevelled cut ready for the compression joint. How long a tool at this price would last a tradesman I don’t know, but it feels solidly built and for the occasional DIY use I couldn’t recommend it enough. If I never use it again it’s paid for itself with that one job it made so easy.

Good but careful if using at pipe end
I only needed to cut the top of a few old pipes and for that it has worked; it is solid/heavy and has cut the old pipes reliably.Only issue - I guess with all such designs - is if you use it at the top of a pipe - say the top is too long for new valves or damaged to put new olive - then the clasp/cutting action will collapse pipe inwards and will not cut it either - now you have to saw it off. You need to find some 13-14mm pipe to insert into the 15mm pipe to prevent it from collapsing. It would be great if such an item would have been provided - as it is you'll have to find something suitable.

Good tool let down by a poor lasting cutting blade.
I bought this as a needed a budget pipe cutter to cap off a couple of copper pipes to an old shower that is no longer needed. Not using a pipe cutter before, I did a test cut above where I needed to cut just to get a hang of the tool and it was very easy. The second cut was fine, but by the third cut it needed a few more turns to actually cut the pipe.I used the pipe cutter again to fit a stop valve and only the fourth time using it I could tell the blade was going blunt, I got a nice clean cut but it took a good 10-12 turns to cut the pipe.I can't complain too much as its done the jobs I needed it for and it's good to know you can get replacement blades, but if you need to make more than 5-6 cuts before changing the cutting blade I would opt for something a bit better quality where the blade lasts longer.
